    Abstract: A package stabilizing device for use in transporting a package in a vehicle includes a bracket assembly that is configured to couple to an element of a vehicle so that an arm of the bracket assembly extends into an interior space of the vehicle. A sling is coupled to and extends from a distal limit of the arm. The sling is configured to position a package so that the package is suspended within the interior space. The sling is configured to swing within the interior space to diminish forces that are applied to contents of the package as the vehicle traverses an uneven surface, accelerates, brakes, and turns.
