Abstract: A wall-mounted enclosure having a standard forward-facing opening but also having an expanded enclosure behind the opening. The opening allows the use of conventional prior art components (such as cover plates). The expanded enclosure allows a more generous bend radius for the creation of a service loop in a fiber optic cable or similar component.
Abstract: Disclosed is a fitting having a main body including a distal end and a proximal end, and a first split ring coupled to the distal end of the main body, wherein the first split ring includes an opening for receiving a main tab along an outer surface of the main body, and wherein the first split ring includes a set of disengagement tabs on opposite sides of a slot. The fitting may further include a second split ring within an interior of the main body, wherein the second split ring comprises a set of interior arms operable to engage a sheath of a cable.
Abstract: In an example embodiment, a junction box may include a flashing. The flashing may define a first groove. The first groove may be disposed relative to a first center axis on a first plane. The junction box may also include a housing. The housing may include a bottom portion. The bottom portion may define a second groove. The second groove may be disposed relative to a second center axis. The second center axis may be coincident with the first center axis in a direction that is substantially parallel to the first plane of the first groove. In addition, the second groove may be located on a second plane that is substantially parallel to the first plane of the first groove. Further, the second groove may be configured to indicate a suitable hole position in the bottom portion.
