Abstract: A compartment assembly for a displaying apparatus is disclosed. An external signal input unit is installed in a portion of the compartment for receiving a video or audio signal generated from an outside of the displaying apparatus. The compartment assembly includes an opening formed on a front cover of the displaying apparatus, a support formed in an inner circumference of the front cover and disposed adjacent to the opening for supporting the external signal input unit, and a cover detachably coupled to the front cover for closing the opening. The cover includes a rib extended from a bottom of the cover so as to contact the external signal input unit for preventing the external signal input unit from moving when the cover closes the opening.
Abstract: A fastening device is provided to assemble a first unit and a second unit. The first unit has a first cover and the second unit has a second cover. The fastening device comprises a positioning post mounted on the first cover; a positioning aperture positioned on the second cover; a sliding piece mounted on the second cover and having at least one arm of which a slant edge slants upward along a first direction; a resilient element of which one end is fixed on the sliding piece and the other end is fixed on the second cover for making the sliding piece move with the resilient element on the second cover; and an operating key being mounted on the upper end of the sliding piece such that a user can push the sliding piece along the first direction by means of the operating key.
Abstract: An adjustable multi-positional display monitor for accommodating varied viewing positions. The display unit includes a swivel portion, a pivot portion and a screen. The swivel portion is rotatable relative to a reference surface about a first axis, which extends through the reference surface. The pivot portion has a proximal and distal region, the proximal region pivotally coupled to the swivel portion to accommodate pivot of the pivot portion relative to the swivel portion about a second axis which is normal to the first axis. The distal region is associated with a screen which is rotatable about a third axis which extends though a planar viewing surface of the screen so that the screen can be positioned for viewing from an upright, inverted and recumbent position regardless of the orientation of the reference surface.
