Abstract: A multi-wire electric discharge machine includes: a plurality of cutting wire sections arranged in parallel in such a way as to face a workpiece, a wire electrode being wound around guide rollers to form the cutting wire sections; a drive unit that adjusts relative distances between the workpiece and the cutting wire sections; a machining power supply that applies pulse voltages between the workpiece and the cutting wire sections; a machining-state detection device that detects machining states in the cutting wire sections; and a machining control device that controls the drive unit and the machining power supply, in which when values indicating the machining states exceed a threshold value, the machining control device outputs, to the machining power supply, commands to apply the pulse voltages according to a machining condition for avoiding breakage of the wire electrode.
Abstract: A key duplicating machine and duplicating process are disclosed. The key duplicating machine comprises a base, a main axis processing device, a detecting device, a feeding device, a clamping device and a drive device. The base comprises a vertical plate and a horizontal plate, separates the horizontal plate into a front part and a rear part. The main axis processing device and the detecting device are both flexibly connected to the vertical plate and arranged on the side facing the front part. The base separates the processing area from the drive area so that processing residues produced in the processing area will not easily invade the drive area, ensuring that the drive area will be clean and free from contamination, reducing the probability of damage to the motor, guide rail and other structures in the drive area, and increasing the stability and lifespan of the key duplicating machine.
Abstract: A rotatable blade with a front side and a back side, for use in a slicing machine, includes a curved peripheral edge formed as a cutting edge defining a blade plane. On the back side of the blade, the cutting edge is adjoined by a first surface which is inclined obliquely to the blade plane, extends radially inwards and is at an acute cutting angle to the blade plane. A second surface of the blade follows the first surface radially inwards on the back side of the blade, and the blade has a same thickness over an entire radial extension of the second surface.
Abstract: Transport system which makes to transport a wire or sheet of any length and with the required quality to the location of the use of the wire or the sheet. The transport system has a transport platform, a receptacle for the wire or the sheet, wherein the receptacle is configured such that the wire or the sheet may be received coiled on the receptacle, a drive, wherein the drive is configured such that the wire or the sheet may be conveyed by the drive in a transport direction, and a straightening device, wherein the straightening device is configured such that the wire or the sheet can be straightened with the straightening device, wherein the receptacle, the drive and the straightening device are arranged on the transport platform such that the wire or the sheet may be drawn automatically from the receptacle and fed to the straightening device by the drive.
