Abstract: A bonus round of a video keno game may consist of a series of bonus game instances. During a bonus game instance, a game controller may identify a set of bonus game pieces and select a set of bonus outcome identifiers from a bonus outcome pool. A win amount may be determined based on the number of matches between the set of bonus outcome identifiers and the set of bonus game pieces. The bonus outcome identifiers may include persistent identifiers and non-persistent identifiers. Persistent identifiers may be removed from the bonus outcome pool for subsequent bonus game instances in the series. Additionally or alternatively, the bonus game pieces corresponding to the persistent identifiers may continue to be matches for the subsequent bonus game instances in the series.

Abstract: A gaming machine is described herein. The gaming machine includes a cabinet, a display device mounted to the cabinet, and a control unit operably coupled to the display device. The control unit includes a processor programmed to execute an algorithm including the steps of initiating a bonus feature by establishing a plurality of multiplier zones having associated multiplier values and being displayed with a corresponding cell displaying a special symbol and replacing the primary reels with a plurality of independent reels including a plurality of primary game symbols and at least one prize symbol. The processor conducts an instance of the bonus feature by spinning and stopping the plurality of independent reels and modifying each prize symbol being displayed within a multiplier zone by increasing a value associated with the prize symbol based on a corresponding multiplier value associated with a corresponding multiplier zone.

The gaming server receives a jackpot token from the player, including a token identification associated with the player and a progressive jackpot identification correlating to a token progressive jackpot. A wager is received for the second wagering game, which is conducted such that the player participates in the token progressive jackpot. The gaming server transmits a message to the jackpot server, including a portion of the wager as a contribution to the token progressive jackpot and an outcome of the second wagering game.
