Abstract: A method of playing a word forming game comprises distributing a predetermined number of tiles to a set of players so as to form a hand of play associated with each player. Each tile has a character value associated with the tile, and at least one tile has a special feature value. The players form words on a playing surface, and the words comprise one or more tiles from a player's hand of play and one or more tiles already on the playing surface. Exemplary special feature values instruct players to skip a turn, to reverse the order of play, or to redistribute tiles. Each tile has a nesting portion and a nested portion. The nesting portion is characterized a concavity into which another playing tile may be nested and the nested portion is characterized by a convex edge.
Abstract: A dominos-style mathematical operation game is provided with a plurality of dominos style type game pieces. Each game piece is defined by a polyhedron with a top and bottom face. Each face is divided into a left and right section with a mathematical operation therebetween.
Abstract: A game with interlocking game pieces includes a first set of game pieces each comprising a game surface, a first side surface having a first concave portion and a first convex portion extending from the first concave portion and a second side surface having a second concave portion and a second convex portion extending from the second concave portion. A second set of game pieces are mirror images of and interlock with the first set of game pieces. A game piece face provided on the game surface of each of the first set of game pieces and the second set of game pieces.
Abstract: A game is provided that utilizes a code caller card that is used to direct each step of play. The code caller card identify passages of the Bible, and are analogous to a “question” that the player in turn must answer. In combination, word tiles are drawn and held by the players, and are used to create an “answer”, the answer being the phrase or quote identified by the “question” on the caller card. These word tiles are used in conjunction with previously played tiles. The word tiles can be used with or without a board and on a flat, horizontal surface.
Abstract: A domino including pieces (1) which have on their back or sides an indication device with several identifying positions, and a device for storing and transporting the same. The indication device provided on the back of the pieces allows the pieces corresponding to each player to be marked so as to carry out the same distribution in other matches. The device for storing and transporting the pieces (1) is made up of four cases (9) which have means to allow them to be identified or for the indication device of the pieces (1) housed in each of them to be viewed.
Abstract: A new domino playing piece system for helping children learn and recognize numbers and animals. The inventive device includes a plurality of playing pieces with each playing piece comprising a display surface having first and second regions and a border between the first and second regions. The display surface of the playing piece has numeric indicia displayed thereon. Each of the first and second regions of the playing piece has an illustration displayed thereon with each illustration representing a numeric value. The sum of the numeric values of the illustrations of the first and second regions equals the value of the numeric indicia displayed on the playing piece.
