Abstract: The Elastomer Suspension System Skateboard Truck is proposed for use in all styles of skateboarding. This new design is unlike any conventional skateboard truck. The truck incorporates an elatomer suspension system, which is a modification of the type used in automotive vehicles and other mechanisms utilizing shock absorbing equipment. The elastomer shock absorbers oppose pressure from end to end, therefore diminishing or eliminating all forces associated with sudden or rapid motions. By downgrading or eradicating these extreme shock forces the skateboarder has more control, and is therefore more maneuverable.
Abstract: A skateboard having a deck with an arched center, two bumper regions, one at either end of the deck, each of the bumper regions extending above and rigidly affixed to the deck. Truck and wheel assemblies mounted beneath respective ones of the bumper regions.
Abstract: An illuminated recreational board including a board including a top side, bottom side and peripheral side extending between said top and bottom sides. A plurality of recesses extend into the peripheral side of the board and a plurality of removable LED's positioned within respective ones of the plurality of recesses. A transparent cover is positioned on the peripheral side for protecting and covering the LED's. The LED's are connected to a device for illuminating the plurality of LED's in any of a number of different illumination sequences. The predetermined sequences include a flashing sequence, a strobing sequence, a twinkling sequence and a constant and continuous sequence. The recreational board may be formed as either a skateboard or a snowboard.
Abstract: A scooter device for providing a swingable skateboard device. The scooter device includes a first panel having a top side and a bottom side. The first panel is rigid. Each of a plurality of wheels is rotatably attached to the bottom side of the first panel. A handle is attached to the first panel. A second panel has an upper surface and a lower surface. The second panel is rotatably coupled to the first panel such that the lower surface of the second panel is facing the top side of the first panel.
