Abstract: An anchor assembly for securing a catheter to a human body. An anchor assembly includes an anchor comprising an anchor body and a flange coupled with the anchor body. The flange has a top side and a bottom side opposite the top side, the bottom side configured to engage a human body. The anchor body defines at least one bore configured to receive a catheter therein. An adhesive dressing is disposed on the top side of the flange. The adhesive dressing includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion at least partially covers the first side of the flange, and the second portion extends radially outward of the flange relative to the anchor body.
Abstract: An arrangement for medical equipment configured to appear more desirable to the patient is provided. The present disclosure provides an arrangement of intravenous infusion equipment configured to appear as an ordinary household object. The arrangement of intravenous infusion equipment may be configured to appear as an object fitting into the patient's interests in order to make the patient more relaxed and comfortable. The arrangement of intravenous infusion equipment may be configured to appear as an object more desirable to the patient while the equipment is not in use and then extend into a more suitable position when the equipment is in use.
