Abstract: A candle holder specially shaped so as to resemble a TV set. The body portion of the candle holder is preferably made of glass and is relatively opaque except for a screen simulative portion recessed into a front wall thereof which is relatively translucent. The candle holder also may include means for simulating a "rabbit ears" antenna in the form of bent wire mounted in a rear wall and extending upwardly therefrom. A lit candle may be placed on the floor of the candle holder through an upper opening formed by the front wall, rear wall and side walls.
Abstract: A candle holder apparatus includes a translucent outer shell which includes a bottom outer shell portion and a top outer shell portion and includes a translucent inner shell which includes a bottom inner shell portion and a top inner shell portion. The inner shell defines a candle-reception chamber. A bridge is connected between the outer shell and the inner shell and provides a hollow wall space between the outer shell and the inner shell. The top outer shell portion, the top inner shell portion, and the bridge define an access opening to the candle-reception chamber. A quantity of translucent marbles are located in the hollow wall space. The inner shell is nested inside the outer shell. The outer shell is spaced from the inner shell by a substantially constant separation distance. The outer shell can be made from heat resistant tempered glass.
Abstract: A candle holder to support a candle on its side so that both ends of the candle, which include an exposed wick, can be simultaneously burned. The candle holder includes a base having an upper surface that is adapted to support the candle. The candle holder may also include a pair of drip plates extending from opposite ends of the base to underlie the ends of the candle and catch wax drippings from the candle. The drip plates may include wells that hold the wax drippings. When embodied as a novelty item, the candle holder may support an actual or a simulated candle that may be configured to have the appearance that it can be or has been burned. Actual or simulated wax drippings may be disposed on the drip plates to enhance the appearance that the candle has been burned.
