Abstract: A vapor-enhancing apparatus is provided for an electronic vapor smoking article. Such an apparatus includes a filter material and a tubular housing defining a lumen. The lumen has a mouth-engaging end and a longitudinally-opposed component-engaging end, and is configured to receive the filter material therein. The component-engaging end is adapted to operably engage a control body portion associated with the electronic vapor smoking article and to receive a vapor therethrough. A vapor-enhancing element is operably engaged with the filter material and is configured to enhance the vapor drawn through the filter material within the lumen, and through the mouth-engaging end, by application of suction to the mouth-engaging end of the housing. An associated method is also provided.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to aerosol delivery devices. The aerosol delivery devices may include a control body and a cartridge including an atomizer and a reservoir configured to contain an aerosol precursor composition. The control body may include a housing defining an electrical power source cavity that extends along a first longitudinal axis and is configured to receive an electrical power source. The control body may additionally include a coupler configured to engage a cartridge including an aerosol precursor composition such that the cartridge extends along a second longitudinal axis. The first longitudinal axis and the second longitudinal axis may be non-coaxial and oriented substantially parallel to one another. A related assembly method is also provided.

Abstract: Vaporizer cartridges are provided. In some implementations, a cartridge includes a storage compartment having a longitudinal and two transverse dimensions, a mouthpiece at a proximal end of the storage compartment, exposed contact surfaces proximate to and accessible from a distal end of the storage compartment, and a heater proximate to the distal end. The heater includes extended plate contacts, a wick disposed between the plate contacts, and a heating element in contact with the plate contacts and the wick. Two opposed ends of the wick are disposed within the storage compartment and configured to contact the vaporizable material. The plate contact are electrically connected to the contact surfaces. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.
