Abstract: A biodegradable unisex disposable safety razor includes an ergonomic handle and a fixed head arranged on one end of the handle. The head includes a skin contacting surface, an internal process cavity with a single blade having a single cutting edge. The blade communicates with four independent passages located on the head. The device, which functions with no moving parts and/or electronics has an integrated and enhanced; skin lubrication system, an acoustic alert method for achieving an optimal shave, a method to alternate the shaving blade material temperature, dependent care assist functionality, a fully internal surface wetting antibacterial protection method, an external user safety protection guard, a post shave debris clean-out in conjunction to a fully internal material surface dry-out sanitization system aimed at improving the devices overall hygiene.
Abstract: A razor that facilitates a user's removal of shaving lubricant, cut hairs, and other shaving-related debris, from around, and between, the razor's blade(s). A scoop at the upper portion of the razor's blade assembly funnels water to the blade channel in which the blades are affixed, and at least a portion of that water flows around and/or over the blade(s). The scoop captures, and directs through the razor's blades, a greater volume of water per unit time than can be achieved with an unmodified blade assembly. The cross-sectional area of the scoop's inflow mouth is greater than that of the blade channel's outflow mouth, thereby promoting a Venturi effect which increases the speed of the water's flow over the blades.
