Abstract: A body belt for use by linemen and others engaged in operations on poles or similar structures having a secondary set of D-rings, typically disposed slightly rearward of the primary D-rings on the belt or an auxiliary belt or attachment above or below the primary D-ring of the belt. The secondary D-rings which may differ in size from the primary D-rings, allow a wearer to separate devices that are normally attached to the primary D-rings. This allows less crowding of the primary D-rings, thereby making detachment and reattachment of one or more ancillary safety devices from the body belt as a lineman encounters an obstacle during his or her work on a pole or other elevated structure, thereby improving safety. An add-on D-ring assembly is provided for retrofitting body belts of the prior art. In another embodiment of the invention, an auxiliary body belt is detachably connected to the primary body belt, the auxiliary body belt having its own set of D-rings.
Abstract: A safety belt connecting structure includes first and second shoulder belts, and an adjusting belt. The first and second shoulder belts have corresponding first and second shoulder belt coupling ends and first and second shoulder belt connecting end, and the first shoulder belt engaging end is coupled to a facility where the safety belt connecting structure is installed. The second shoulder belt coupling end is coupled to the facility. The adjusting belt has an adjusting belt connecting end and an adjusting belt adjusting end. The adjusting belt connecting end is connected with the first and second shoulder belt connecting ends, and the adjusting belt adjusting end is adjustably fixed with a positioning portion on the facility, so that an acting length of the safety belt connecting structure with respect to the facility is adjustable by adjusting a position of the adjusting belt with respect to the positioning portion.
Abstract: A tree saddle includes a first panel having first and second ends with a body portion disposed therebetween, and a second panel having first and second ends with a body portion disposed therebetween. One or more connecting members operably couple the first and second panels to one another. A magnetic coupling system includes a first magnetic array disposed on the first panel, and a second magnetic array disposed on the second panel. The first magnetic array is magnetically coupled to the second magnetic array when the tree saddle is in a coupled condition. The first magnetic array is uncoupled from the second magnetic array when the tree saddle is in an uncoupled condition. The tree saddle includes a first profile when the tree saddle is in the uncoupled condition that is greater than a second profile of the tree saddle when the tree saddle is in the coupled condition.
Abstract: A leg strap assembly is provided for supporting a urine bag on a user's leg. The leg strap assembly includes a pair of straps selectively couplable with the urine bag, wherein each strap of the leg strap assembly includes a central band and a pair of outer bands extending outward from each end portion of the central band. The central band has a larger width than the each of the outer bands to provide comfort to the user.
