Abstract: A work surface device for a domestic household appliance and a household appliance having a work surface. The work surface device includes a housing having a cavity accessible by an opening formed in a sidewall of the housing, and a pivotally-deployable work surface supported by the housing at a pivot point, wherein the pivotally-deployable work surface is movable about the pivot point from a stored position within the cavity to a deployed position outside of the housing, and wherein the pivotally-deployable work surface has a planar upper support surface.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a hair care device (1), having a handle (3), a application head (4) which can be connected to the handle (3) and has a hair treatment device (5), particularly a bristle and/or a tooth field, and having an ion discharging device (9) with at least one ion outlet (11) for discharging ions onto the hair. According to the invention, the hair care device (1) is characterized in that the application head (4) and/or a part of the housing surrounding the ion outlet (11) has at least one grounding surface for dissipating/limiting electrical charges. Advantageously, the ions are discharged exclusively from the back (8) of the device facing away from the hair treatment device (5), while the grounding surface can be provided on the application head (4) on the front side of the device.

Abstract: A laundry system includes a home terminal device and laundry apparatus. The terminal device includes a first short-range communication device, a long-range communication device, and a terminal device controller transmitting information about laundry and a laundry constraint to a server connected to an Internet, thereby obtaining an operation control program for the laundry apparatus. The terminal device controller transfers the program via the first short-range communication device to the laundry apparatus and receives via the first short-range communication device information about an operating state of the laundry apparatus. The laundry apparatus includes a second short-range communication device, a laundry apparatus controller, and a laundry unit.
