Abstract: A cytology sampling system includes a catheter tube and a cytology tool. The catheter tube has open proximal and distal ends. The cytology tool is insertable through the catheter tube and includes a flexible shaft and a brush. The brush is coupled to the distal end of the flexible shaft. The brush includes a plurality of brush shafts. Each brush shaft has bristles disposed along a portion of a length thereof. The bristles are coupled to and extend radially away from an outer surface of each of the brush shafts. The bristles are configured to collect cell samples from targeted tissue of a patient.
Abstract: A cytology sampling system includes a catheter tube and a cytology tool. The catheter tube has open proximal and distal ends. The cytology tool is insertable through the catheter tube and includes a flexible shaft, a brush, and a position sensor. The flexible shaft defines proximal and distal ends thereof. The position sensor provides an indication of the location of the position sensor within a luminal structure. The system may include a positioning assembly for placing the distal end of the catheter tube adjacent the target tissue.
Abstract: In some embodiments, the present invention is directed to a wire bristle brush comprising a handle, a head attached to the handle wherein the head has a first face and a second face, ferromagnetic brush bristles attached to the first face of the head, and a magnet attached to the head for magnetically attracting loose brush bristles that have become dislodged from the first face of the head.
Abstract: A tool with a handle (14) that can be used to removed film from printed matter. In addition, there is a small brush (16) used to cleaning film residue from printed matter. Further the toll will have a loop (18) or patch of hook/loop material (20) so that the tool can be attached to a linking device so that the tool can be easily hooked to a key chain, key ring, pant loop or any other item with attachment capability in order to make the tool readily available for immediate use.
Abstract: A device for cleaning golf equipment such as golf clubs and golf shoe includes a handle, a brush head surface formed in an underside of the handle at a proximal end thereof, and a plurality of metal and plastic bristles extending downward from the brush head surface. The bristles are configured so that the plastic bristles are arranged around an outer circumference of the brush head surface to encircle the metal bristles extending from a central portion of the brush head surface.
Abstract: A device for cleaning golf equipment includes a handle, a removable brush assembly attached to an end of the handle, and a removable groove cleaner assembly attached to the handle directly above the brush assembly. The brush assembly includes a plurality of metal bristles arranged around a periphery of the handle. The metal bristles surround a plurality of plastic bristles.
Abstract: A “plunger-brush” is described and claimed. The plunger-brush includes a surface cleaning element at one end of a cylindrical member, which is used to sweep debris from a surface. The cylindrical member also bears a collar that closes a drain opening when the plunger-brush is placed in a drain, for example of a kitchen sink. A handle at the other end of the plunger-brush provides for easy handling of the implement.
