Abstract: A cytology sampling system includes a catheter tube and a cytology tool. The catheter tube has open proximal and distal ends. The cytology tool is insertable through the catheter tube and includes a flexible shaft, a brush, and a position sensor. The flexible shaft defines proximal and distal ends thereof. The brush is coupled to the distal end of the flexible shaft. The brush includes a plurality of brush shafts. Each brush shaft has bristles disposed along a portion of a length thereof. The bristles are coupled to and extend radially away from an outer surface of each of the brush shafts. The bristles are configured to collect cell samples from targeted tissue of a patient. The position sensor provides an indication of the location of the position sensor within a luminal structure. The system may include a positioning assembly for placing the distal end of the catheter tube adjacent the target tissue.
Abstract: In some embodiments, the present invention is directed to a wire bristle brush comprising a handle, a head attached to the handle wherein the head has a first face and a second face, ferromagnetic brush bristles attached to the first face of the head, and a magnet attached to the head for magnetically attracting loose brush bristles that have become dislodged from the first face of the head.
Abstract: A tool with a handle (14) that can be used to removed film from printed matter. In addition, there is a small brush (16) used to cleaning film residue from printed matter. Further the toll will have a loop (18) or patch of hook/loop material (20) so that the tool can be attached to a linking device so that the tool can be easily hooked to a key chain, key ring, pant loop or any other item with attachment capability in order to make the tool readily available for immediate use.
Abstract: A device for cleaning golf equipment such as golf clubs and golf shoe includes a handle, a brush head surface formed in an underside of the handle at a proximal end thereof, and a plurality of metal and plastic bristles extending downward from the brush head surface. The bristles are configured so that the plastic bristles are arranged around an outer circumference of the brush head surface to encircle the metal bristles extending from a central portion of the brush head surface.
Abstract: A device for cleaning golf equipment includes a handle, a removable brush assembly attached to an end of the handle, and a removable groove cleaner assembly attached to the handle directly above the brush assembly. The brush assembly includes a plurality of metal bristles arranged around a periphery of the handle. The metal bristles surround a plurality of plastic bristles.
Abstract: A “plunger-brush” is described and claimed. The plunger-brush includes a surface cleaning element at one end of a cylindrical member, which is used to sweep debris from a surface. The cylindrical member also bears a collar that closes a drain opening when the plunger-brush is placed in a drain, for example of a kitchen sink. A handle at the other end of the plunger-brush provides for easy handling of the implement.
Abstract: A multipurpose cleaning implement that functions both as a broom and a scuff removing device. The exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a plastic base that serves as the attachment point for (i) a plurality of bristles (ii) a handle, and (iii) a device that is useful for removing scuff marks from floors. A first general embodiment of the scuff removing device includes a friction forming material that has been attached to a base or support that includes a rounded or curved forward surface. A second general embodiment of the scuff removing device includes a detachable scuff remover that includes a piece of friction forming material mounted on a base which may be clipped to the end of a broom handle opposite the broom head.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a cleaning sponge. The cleaning sponge contains a cavity that is cut radially inward through one of the sides of the sponge. The cavity is located closer to the side of the sponge rather than its center. Furthermore, the sponge has two holding arms that are formed when the cavity is cut and form a channel, allowing the sponge to be placed on a faucet or any other hanging member. The holding arms pull apart when the sponge is placed on a faucet and once the sponge is on the faucet, they pull together. Since the cavity is near the side of the sponge, the holding arms do not interfere with the cleaning function of the sponge. Furthermore, the sponge has several layers with different coefficients of coarseness for cleaning different surfaces and may be cut in any decorative shape desired.
Abstract: The present invention 10 discloses a glove 11 having an elongated elastomeric base member 34 substantially positioned over the proximal thumb phalanx 30 having a plurality of pliable blade-like elements 28 whereby the wearer 23 of the gloves can extend the thumb 30 and in a single motion using the pliable blade-like elements 28, wipe the transparent visor portions 20 of eye protection devices 24 without totally obstructing the vision of the wearer. The elongated elastomeric member 34 is comprised of a plurality of pliable blade-like elements 28 exteriorly positioned on the glove 11 extending through an aperture 38 to a planar flange element 40 located between the exterior glove material 36 and the interior glove liner 14 providing structure 46 for fixedly positioning the elongated elastomeric member 34 to the exterior 36 and/or interior layer 42 of the glove by any structure 46 known within the art, such as, bonding, sewing or riveting.
