  • Publication number: 20210076550
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Sansevieria plant named ‘HANSOTI23’ is disclosed, characterized by bright, variegated foliage of green and cream tones with linear bands along the length of the leaf, contrasting with a base background cream colour and bright green coloured margin bands in the leaf blade. Foliage is arranged in attractive spiral rosettes with lowermost foliage occurring at obtuse angles from the center of the plant. The new cultivar is compact, reaching about 20 to 25 cm in height at maturity. Plants are typically ready to sell at 3 months from a rooted liner, having 9 to 12 leaves at this stage. Plants require little water, having a moderate tolerance for drought, and are also tolerant of very wet conditions. The new variety is a Sansevieria, categorized within the Compact Sansevieria Group, typically produced as an indoor ornamental plant.

  • Publication number: 20210068328
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Sansevieria plant named ‘HANSOTI26’ is disclosed, characterized by unique light grey-green foliage with distinct dark green linear markings in the form of linear lines along the length of the leaf and transverse cross hatching on this, contrasting with the light green background. The arched leaves are relatively fleshy, strap-like with maximum width up to 3 cm, upright, somewhat stiff with soft, non-aggressive tips that do not hurt or poke even in large mature plants. ‘HANSOTI26’, unlike most commercial Sansevieria cultivars, comes true to type and quickly forms adventitious shoots from leaf cuttings. Plants of ‘HANSOTI26’ are extremely tough, even when compared to other Sansevieria cultivars, and are very long lasting under low light indoor conditions. The new variety is a Sansevieria, categorized within the Novelty Sansevieria Group, typically produced as an indoor ornamental plant.

  • Patent number: PP32333
Abstract: The new variety ‘Spearmint’ is a type of “long leaves Sansevieria” plant. It can reach 80 cm in length, with an average of approximately 3-5 leaves per plant. The plant is cylindrically shaped, the arrangement of the leaves is in the form of a rosette. The leaf blade is greyed-green colored, with dark green colored non-uniform horizontal variegated bands in both sides of the leaves, and green margins. Shows colors very different from its parent variety ‘Wintergreen’ (Patented, U.S. Plant Pat. No. 24,939), and ‘Bantel Sensation’ (unpatented). Unlike its parent variety it shows variegated leaves (different green tones on the irregular bands) and ‘Spearmint’ also presents less leaves per rosette.
