Abstract: Global metadata, such as a document identifier, which may be a globally unique identifier, is embedded into an embedded interactive code document by combining a first m-array and a plurality of copies of the first m-array to generate a combined m-array with encoded global metadata such that respective start positions (xd, yd)i of the plurality of copies of the first m-array in the combined m-array are each shifted, by respective amounts that are based on respective portions of the global metadata, relative to a start position of the first m-array in the combined m-array. Global metadata may be decoded from the combined m-array by determining the respective amounts by which the plurality of copies of the first m-array are shifted, relative to the first m-array, in the combined m-array and by combining the respective amounts to produce a decoded value of the global metadata.

  • Patent number: 10111157
Abstract: A method and apparatus for reconfiguring multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) minimization of drive test (MDT) in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives a value tag for MBMS-MDT, and determines whether to perform MBMS-MDT reconfiguration by comparing the received value tag for MBMS-MDT with a stored value tag for MBMS-MDT. If the received value tag for MBMS-MDT and the stored value tag for MBMS-MDT are different from each other, the UE performs the MBMS-MDT reconfiguration. Alternatively, if a paging message includes an indicator of modification of the MBMS-MDT configuration, the UE acquires the MBMS-MDT configuration and performs the MBMS-MDT reconfiguration.

  • Patent number: 12232018
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for generating an MBSSID virtual access point (VAP) to facilitate an uninterrupted MBSSID. An access point (AP) can determine characteristics, or network properties, of VAPs associated with the AP. The AP can generate an MBSSID VAP based on the characteristics of the VAPs. An MBSSID beacon can be generated using the MBSSID VAP as a transmitted VAP (TX VAP) of the MBSSID beacon. The MBSSID VAP serves as a TX-VAP that is not subject to changes and does not need to be interrupted to have changes made to it. As the MBSSID VAP serves as a TX VAP that is not subject to changes or interruptions, the MBSSID based on the MBSSID VAP does not need to be interrupted for changes to be made to other VAPs associated with the MBSSID.
