Abstract: A structure connects a plurality of mutually remote electrical components to a central unit. The components have terminal contacts that are connected through conductor tracks to connection contacts of the central unit. The conductor tracks are constructed on the flexible printed circuit board in such a way as to provide it with a compact base surface having peripheral regions out of which the conductor tracks can be formed to extend back and forth so that they may be bent or extended outward after stamping out or separating at least regions thereof leading to the terminal contacts, before the terminal contacts of the mutually remote components are connected. In this way when the terminal contacts are connected, the flexible printed circuit board assumes a branching form from the outside, which covers a surface area that is enlarged as compared with the compact base surface.

Abstract: An image sensor has an optical configuration for imaging an image to be recorded onto sensor elements. The sensor elements have dimensions below a resolution of the optical configuration. Neighboring sensor elements are in each case combined into pixel sensor regions. During the recording of the image, the measured values X of the sensor elements of each sensor region are averaged. In this case, each average value corresponds to a pixel of the recorded image. In this manner, production-dictated tolerances of the sensor elements are compensated for by the averaging.
Abstract: A VSMP semiconductor component is mounted by inserting an auxiliary element into a slot in a receptacle. The auxiliary element projects laterally from a narrow side of the semiconductor component and, as the auxiliary element is inserted into the slot, the semiconductor component is properly positioning on the printed circuit board.

Abstract: Antennas of an anti-theft system are controlled with a pulse width modulated square-wave signal by a power control unit and a phase control unit. The control is such that a change in power causes no change in phase, and vice versa. This is accomplished by varying the pulse width of the square-wave signal if a change in power occurs and at the same time shifting the pulse rise time such that the phase remains constant.
Abstract: A rubber roller in a printing press inker or dampener is force loaded against its adjacent rollers with hydraulic cylinders. The bearings of the adjacent rollers are fixed in the machine frame, while the position setting sockets of the rubber roller are supported on the hydraulic cylinders. The rubber roller can be thrown on and off by actuating the hydraulic cylinders and the loading force can be adjusted by the hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic cylinders.
Abstract: A multi-conductor optical cable is received by a fan out element. A plurality of individual receiving sheaths housing in each case one individual optical waveguide are also received in the fan out element. At least two of the receiving sheaths extend longitudinally parallel and are continuously connected to one another between the fan out element and a separation point.
Abstract: The integrated memory has a data line pair, which is connected to a bit line pair via at least one differential amplifier. In addition, it has a control unit for setting first potential states on the data line pair which correspond to the differential signals of data to be written to the memory cells, and for setting at least one second potential state on the data line pair which does not correspond to any datum to be written to the memory cells. Furthermore, it has a detector unit having two inputs connected to the data line pair. The detector unit initiates a specific control function when the second potential state of the data line pair occurs.

Abstract: A memory device includes a multiplicity of memory cells disposed on a substrate for at least intermittent stable storage of at least two different information states. A writing device is associated with the memory cells for selectively putting one of the multiplicity of memory cells into a predetermined information state by external action. A reading device is associated with the memory cells for external detection of a current or chronologically preceding information state of a selected memory cell. The memory cells have a miniaturized mechanical element.
Abstract: A plug for an optical fiber cable includes an elastic cover cap which is seated at a light exit side of the plug and has a base that is penetrated by the optical fiber cable during insertion into a socket part. The elastic cover cap serves as a sealing and protective element. Upon insertion of the plug into a socket part, the cover cap remains seated on the plug. In the course of plugging in, the cover cap is gripped by a step in a holding bore of the socket part and is displaced on the plug. In this process, the cover cap base is torn open and exposes a coupling surface of the optical fiber cable.
Abstract: A plurality of semiconductor bodies are produced by first depositing a mask layer on a main surface of a substrate wafer. A plurality of windows are next formed in the mask layer such that the wafer surface is laid bare in the windows. A semiconductor layer sequence defining the semiconductor bodies functionally is then deposited onto the main surface in the windows. Finally, the wafer is divided and severed into individual semiconductor chips.
Abstract: A sensor subassembly contains a base part that is formed of plastic and has a sensor holding region with sensor connections provided therein and a connection region with plug connections provided therein. A sensor element with electrical contacts is electrically conductively connected to the sensor connections. Fastened to the base part is a printed circuit board, via which an electrical connection between the sensor element and the plug connections is made.
Abstract: In a reversing device of a sheet-fed rotary printing machine, there is provided a suction gripper for taking over a trailing edge of a sheet conveyed on an upline sheet-conveying cylinder, the suction gripper being movable out of a periphery of a downline sheet-conveying cylinder, gripping the sheet to be reversed in a region of the trailing edge thereof, and being movable back in a substantially radial direction towards the downline sheet-conveying cylinder for transferring thereat the trailing edge of the sheet to a further gripper device, including a device for converting the substantially radial return movement of the suction gripper into an axial movement of the suction gripper so as to tauten the sheet.
Abstract: A barrier layer is formed on the contact plug of the semiconductor body. The barrier layer prevents oxidation of the contact plug. The barrier layer is produced by chemically reacting a prestructured metallic transition material with one or more reaction partners.

Abstract: The ink jet print head is formed with many parallel ducts, which are etched isotropically through openings in a first layer located above the ducts. After the etching operation, the openings of the first layer are closed by the deposition onto the first layer of a second layer, which covers the openings. The openings have a diameter of 1 .mu.m, for instance. The openings, formed in the first layer by photolithography and ensuing dry etching, are disposed such that in an etching operation, the desired ducts underneath the first layer are laid bare. It is thus not necessary to adjust the relative positioning of two or more etched plates, closed ducts are formed without bonding or adhesive techniques, and the trigger circuit and the print head can be integrated on a single substrate.
Abstract: A circuit configuration for generating an interrupt signal for a microprocessor includes a multiplicity of signal generating circuits that are connected to one another via a logic combination element. Each of the signal generating circuits is configured to activate an intermediate signal when a specific event occurs for an assigned input signal. On the input side, each signal generating circuit has a respective edge detector for detecting rising and falling edges, which are routed via demultiplexers and two further logic combination elements to the set and reset inputs of a flip-flop. The structure can be programmed flexibly and detects, by hardware, an interrupt state with no additional computation loading on the microprocessor.
