Abstract: A system and method for forecasting a price of a property in a first housing sub-market based on data related to a second housing sub-market are described. A price index is derived for the second housing sub-market, and an error correcting function is calculated for the first housing sub-market. A price index for the first housing sub-market is derived from the second sub-market price index and the error correcting function. An estimate of the price of the price of the property in the first housing sub-market is then provided. The estimate of the price can be used as the basis for an economic decision.

Abstract: A change information recognition apparatus comprises a series information storing device for storing series information about a recognition object (a motion picture taken by an image taking device, or the like), and a basic change information storing device for preliminarily storing basic change information corresponding to changes of the series information. The series information storing device feeds the series information to a change state comparing device, and the basic change information storing device feeds the basic change information to the change state comparing device. The change state comparing device compares the change information with the basic change information thus fed, to recognize a change state of the recognition object.
Abstract: A cable having twisted metallic conductors for use in digital systems. Twisted metallic conductor cable with high electrical performance for use in digital systems formed by a bundled array of insulated metallic conductors of thermoplastic material sheathed in a protective banding and by a metallic shielding and finally by a protective cover. The cable uses simultaneously a series of pitches having a maximum and minimum value between 10 and 80 mm and a conductor insulation with a thickness from 2.0 to 2.2 times the conductor diameter for a dielectric constant of 1.87. The combination of the special sequence of pitches and an adequate insulation thickness provides a decrease in attenuation and an improvement concerning the problem of cross talk in digital data transmission.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method and to a device for controlling/regulating the distribution of the injection molding compound in multi-cavity injection molds, especially for molds with a large number of cavities, for example 48 to 128 cavities. The invention distributes the injection molding compound in groups of, for example, four to twelve nozzles. Each group is provided with one classical nozzle, as the master nozzle, that is controlled via the local heating capacity and temperature sensors. All other nozzles or cavities of the same group are configured as slave nozzles that have no temperature sensors. The virtual actual temperatures are computed via saved model computations and are displayed on the user panel. The user is thus provided with the desired/actual temperature values for every nozzle and can thus influence every single nozzle, depending on the result, in the form of temperature values.
Abstract: With conventional device, the quantity of complex defects differs with each semiconductor device because the concentration of impurities intrinsically contained differs for each silicon wafer. Consequently, there is an undesirable variation in characteristics among the semiconductor devices. The invention provides a method for manufacturing PIN type diode which comprises an intermediate semiconductor region in which complex defects are formed. The method comprises introducing impurities (for example, carbon), which are the sane kind of impurities intrinsically contained in the intermediate semiconductor region, into the intermediate semiconductor region, and irradiating the intermediate semiconductor region with helium ions to form point defects.
Abstract: The present invention encompasses albumin fusion proteins. Nucleic acid molecules encoding the albumin fusion proteins of the invention are also encompassed by the invention, as are vectors containing these nucleic acids, host cells transformed with these nucleic acids vectors, and methods of making the albumin fusion proteins of the invention and using these nucleic acids, vectors, and/or host cells. Additionally the present invention encompasses pharmaceutical compositions comprising albumin fusion proteins and methods of treating, preventing, or ameliorating diseases, disorders or conditions using albumin fusion proteins of the invention.

Abstract: A display device is provided for a watch movement provided with a final gear train intended to drive, at least in a mediated way, means of displaying the time and an energy source driving the final gear train. In one implementation, the display device comprises a display disk for an additional function, and a display gearing of which one moving part carries the display disk. The display device also comprises a second energy source connected mechanically to the display gearing and operating means for the display gearing, designed so as to cause the gearing to be driven by the second energy source when the information for display has to be changed.
Abstract: According to the present invention, multivariate analysis model expressions are generated for a plasma processing apparatus 100A and a plasma processing apparatus 100B by executing a multivariate analysis of detection data provided by a plurality of sensors included in each plasma processing apparatus when the plasma processing apparatuses 100A and 100B operate based upon first setting data. Then, when the plasma processing apparatus 100A operates based upon new second setting data, detection data provided by the plurality of sensors in the plasma processing apparatus 100A are used to generate a corresponding multivariate analysis model expression, and by using the new multivariate analysis model expression corresponding to the plasma processing apparatus 100A generated based upon the second setting data and to the plasma processing apparatus 100B, a multivariate analysis model expression corresponding to the new second setting data is generated four the plasma processing apparatus 100B.
