  • Publication number: 20220409481
Abstract: A pool or spa system includes networked pool or spa devices that can be dynamically configured with network address by a controller. The controller can transmit a device discovery request on a network and can receive a discovery response from pool or spa devices that require a network address. The system determines and assigns the network addresses for the pool or spa devices based on unique device identifiers associated with the responding pool or spa devices. The network addresses assigned to the pool or spa device are transmitted to the pool or spa device to be used by the pool or spa devices to communicate with the controller over the network. The system can be used to discover and assign addresses to various types of pool or spa devices, such as pumps, underwater lights, chlorinators, water feature controllers, remote controllers, and/or other types of devices.

  • Publication number: 20220414622
Abstract: A system for off-chain management, distribution and auditing of decentralized cryptocurrency is provided. The system enables an organization to mint off-chain, centrally controlled tokens for internal distribution within the organization. The system allows these tokens to be assigned an underlying value in a cryptocurrency and to be associated with distribution rules and withdrawal rules. When a token is distributed to an employee, it does not guarantee that the employee will receive the underlying value in the cryptocurrency. Instead, the token represents the employee's ability to withdraw up to the assigned underlying value in the cryptocurrency, which the organization can approve, adjust or deny. When the organization approves an employee's withdrawal of a token's underlying value, the system can manage the distribution of the token's underlying value to the employee's cryptocurrency wallet and can provide functionality for tracking, reporting and auditing such transactions.

  • Publication number: 20220404525
Abstract: An optical metasurface film includes a flexible polymeric film having a first major surface, a patterned polymer layer having a first surface proximate to the first major surface of the flexible polymeric film and having a second nanostructured surface opposite the first surface, and a refractive index contrast layer adjacent to the nanostructured surface of the patterned polymer layer forming a nanostructured bilayer with a nanostructured interface. The nanostructured bilayer acts locally on amplitude, phase, or polarization of light, or a combination thereof and imparts a light phase shift that varies as a function of position of the nano structured bilayer on the flexible polymeric film. The light phase shift of the nanostructured bilayer defines a predetermined operative phase profile of the optical metasurface film.
