  • Publication number: 20230056100
Abstract: Systems and methods of dynamic IoT device regulation and control can aid in shifting a user's emotional state from a first state of mind to a preferred second state of mind, using the user's biomarker response to device settings. Particularly, an IoT device controller may be embedded within a wearable device that is wirelessly connected to a computing device and one or more IoT devices. Initially, each wearable device can be calibrated, wherein a matrix of sensed user biomarker responses can be generated. In some embodiments, the system continuously monitors user biomarkers to detect which physiological state exists. When the user enters into the first physiological/psychological state, the system can adjust each IoT device to align with the second state. When the system detects that the user biomarker response has not shifted, the system can continuously adjust IoT settings based upon a learning algorithm having monitored user biomarkers as input.

  • Publication number: 20020183917
Abstract: An automatic start/stop system for locomotive engines which takes into account operator needs and concerns by enabling operators to locally prevent automatic shutdowns of their locomotives without disabling their AESS systems. Thus, operators can maintain their lead (and/or other) units running (i.e., for peace of mind, climate control, etc.) without prohibiting other locomotives in consist from automatically shutting down. The system preferably includes an inhibit switch located in each locomotive control cabin which, when actuated by an operator, prevents that locomotive (and only that locomotive) from automatically shutting down within a predefined duration of time. Techniques for reminding and prompting an operator to enable an AESS system include sounding an alarm, displaying and recording fault data, and inhibiting motoring of the locomotive when the AESS system is disabled and the operator calls for braking or motoring capability.

  • Publication number: 20130118850
Abstract: A method of controlling shifts in a multi-speed transmission includes beginning an initial shift, which changes the transmission from a starting gear to an initial target gear, and executing an adjusted shift, which changes the transmission to an adjusted target gear having higher speed ratio than the initial target gear, when transition conditions are satisfied. The transition conditions include a threshold increase in torque request, which is sufficient to require the transmission to be placed into the adjusted target gear. The transition conditions also include a common controlling clutch, which is an off-going clutch to place the transmission in the adjusted target gear. Executing the adjusted shift does not include placing the transmission in a neutral mode. Furthermore, executing the adjusted shift does not include completing the initial shift.

The trainees are educated by mentors of a motivational and educational learning and training academy. The mentors train the trainees to control their mind and to write an automatic writing statement. The automatic writing statement is written by implementing the automatic writing method. The trainees are also train to create an exact copy, where the exact copy includes a random question, the automatic writing statement, and a correct answer. Each of the trainees has a global warming guide and a criminal history book. The global warming guide includes a plurality of automatic writing statements, and the criminal history book includes a plurality of exact copies. The trainees are also able to obtain a degree program by submitting a predetermined number of the automatic writing statement and exact copy.

  • Patent number: 9993386
Abstract: An instrumentation absolute value differential amplifier is used as part of an electroencephalogram, electromyogram or electrocardiogram to quantify the excitation state of a user, processing and transmitting this information as a control signal for a user feedback device. In one possible arrangement, this feedback device includes a wireless sex toy which responds to the sent control information, acting as a mind controlled sex toy. This provides a simple, intuitive, aesthetically appealing interface for creating a unique sexual experience. The use of an instrumentation absolute value differential amplifier is sufficient to monitor the desired signals while reducing the number of parts required and allowing for less precise tolerances than traditional biological monitoring circuits, thus decreasing the cost of production.

  • Patent number: 7569802
Abstract: A photosensor control unit for use in a lighting module has a light sensor and a switch adapted to operably control a light source such as a plurality of LEDs responsive to the light sensor. The light source is adapted to be mounted in the lighting module, and is configured to produce light having wavelengths within a first range of wavelengths. The light sensor is adapted to be mounted on or about the lighting module, and is responsive to light having wavelengths within a second range of wavelengths. The second range of wavelengths is exclusive of the first range of wavelengths. The switch is adapted to operably control the light source responsive to the light sensor such that the light source emits light having wavelengths within the first range of wavelengths responsive to the presence or absence of light within the second range of wavelengths.

  • Patent number: 8012025
Abstract: A video game controller hub receives a number of control input sets from an equal number of video game controllers, and provides a preferably smaller number of control input sets to a video game console. Each of the control input sets provided to the video game console by the controller hub is used to control a distinct on-screen entity, e.g. vehicle, character, or team. A number of players therefore collectively control a single on-screen entity. The reduction in the number of control input sets is performed according to reduction and combination schemes that are preferably specified by the user to suit a particular video game. The reduction in the number of control input sets increases the number of players that may concurrently participate in a video game without requiring support from the video game console or software, and the collaborative nature of the control of on-screen entities provides for exciting variations in game play.
