The activation may be processed as input and used to determine and then perform a particular action. The particular action may be based at least in part on a particular portion of the assembly which has been activated, a magnitude of applied force, or both. A haptic output may be provided on activation to provide feedback to a user.

In response to detecting the potential read anomaly, the read may be performed after the transaction specified by the transaction request, regardless of whether the first indication of time is indicative of an earlier point in time than the second indication of time.

This mapping may be used to generate a control signal to drive the one or more haptic actuators. The haptic effects and the content may be synchronized to one another during the presentation of the content on the device. The haptic actuator control signal may be amplified proportionally to the amplitude of the low frequency audio data.
