Abstract: On-device processor(s) of a client device may store, in on-device storage and in association with a time to live (TTL) in the on-device storage, a correction directed to ASR processing of audio data. The correction may include a portion of a given speech hypothesis that was modified to an alternate speech hypothesis. Further, the on-device processor(s) may cause an on-device ASR model to be personalized based on the correction. Moreover, and based on additional ASR processing of additional audio data, the on-device processor(s) may store, in the on-device storage and in association with an additional TTL in the on-device storage, a pseudo-correction directed to the additional ASR processing. Accordingly, the on-device processor(s) may cause the on-device ASR model to be personalized based on the pseudo-correction to prevent forgetting by the on-device ASR model.

Abstract: Methods and systems for determination of one or more substances within a material are described. A flow of fluorescence-exciting/ablative energy (e.g., laser pulse(s), preferably in the ultraviolet region (e.g. 193-nm)), is directed onto the material to ablate a thin layer of the material using photochemical decomposition. Simultaneously, the laser energy induces fluorescence of the substance(s) within the ablated layer of the material. The fluorescence emitted by the substance(s) is then received by a device, which measures the spectrum of the received fluorescence. The fluorescence spectra are then transmitted to a spectral processing device adapted to determine, on the basis of the fluorescence spectra, whether the substance(s) of interest is/are present in the material and/or the concentration at which the substance(s) of interest is/are present in the material.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may measure one or more synchronization signal blocks (SSBs); determine that the one or more SSBs are associated with a first transmit receive point (TRP) based at least in part on identification information, associated with the one or more SSBs, that distinguishes the first TRP from a second TRP with a same physical cell identifier (PCI) as the first TRP; and transmit a measurement report, associated with the first TRP, based at least in part on measuring the one or more SSBs and determining that the one or more SSBs are associated with the first TRP. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of transmitting a channel quality indicator (CQI) in a wireless communication system. The method performed by a user equipment supporting a relatively shorter transmission time interval (S-TTI) than a legacy transmission time interval (L-TTI) includes determining predefined control channel-related overhead depending on whether S-TTI-based communication is performed and transmitting the CQI based on the determined predefined control channel-related overhead. If the S-TTI-based communication is performed, the predefined control channel-related overhead is identically determined between an S-TTI including a legacy physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) region and a S-TTI not including a legacy PDCCH region.
Abstract: In a wireless or hybrid mesh communication system, radio frequencies are managed by assigning an in-use frequency channel to each local family of nodes, distributing spare frequency channel(s) among the local families of nodes, and changing the in-use frequency channel of at least one selected local family of nodes to a new frequency channel selected among its spare frequency channel(s), if any, or among the spare frequency channel(s) of another local family of nodes if said at least one selected local family of nodes has no spare frequency channel(s), and/or as the in-use frequency channel of another local family of nodes if none of said local families of nodes has spare frequency channel(s).
Abstract: Each printed circuit board (PCB) on a backpanel has an associated set of power supply studs and power supply pins at an edge of the backpanel. The PCBs can be powered commonly via power supply buses interconnecting the studs. Alternatively, the PCBs can be powered individually via respective power supply PCBs which are inserted into connectors formed partly by the power supply pins and partly by pins on an additional, power supply, backpanel which is mounted to extend contiguously from and in the same plane as the first backpanel. The two arrangements can be combined to power groups of PCBs individually with all of the PCBs in each group being powered commonly.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for supporting multiple frequency assignments in a wireless communication system are provided. An operating method of a Mobile Station (MS) for supporting multicarrier transmission in a wireless communication system includes negotiating a multicarrier operation with a Base Station (BS) during a network entry procedure, when supporting a multicarrier operation mode with the BS, sending a first control message comprising information of every multicarrier configuration supported by the MS, to the BS, receiving a second control message comprising index information of one or more carriers assigned for the multicarrier operation from the BS, and searching for configuration information of carriers corresponding to indexes of the one or more carriers assigned from the BS for the multicarrier operation.
Abstract: In a method of driving a ferroelectric liquid crystal display, a blanking pulse of width 2t.sub.s followed, after a delay of n.multidot.t.sub.s (where n is an integer), by a writing pulse of width t.sub.s and of opposite polarity to the blanking pulse are applied to successive row address lines at intervals of 2t.sub.s. Pairs of bipolar data pulses of width t.sub.s are applied to column address lines so that the data pulses coincide with the blanking pulse applied to the ith row and the writing pulse applied to row i-(n+1)/2 for odd values of n and to row 1-(n+2)/2 for even values of n. The data pulse amplitude may be varied in order to obtain variable grey levels in the display.

Abstract: A position sensor is configured to use a Wiegand wire, position magnet(s) and a reset magnet in which changes in polarization of the Wiegand wire caused by the position magnet(s) can be reset by the reset magnet. The position magnet(s), which can move in relation to the Wiegand wire, can have relatively stronger magnetic flux densities, and the reset magnet, which can be fixed in relation to the Wiegand wire, can have a relatively weaker magnetic flux density. When the position magnet(s) are proximal the Wiegand wire, the relatively stronger position magnet(s) overcome the reset magnet to cause a change in polarization of the Wiegand wire which produces an electrical pulse which can be counted. However, when the position magnet(s) become distal to the Wiegand wire, the relatively weaker reset magnet can reset the polarization of the Wiegand wire to prepare for a next count.
