Abstract: In an integral production pumping tree, the bottom connection, blow-out preventer, flow tee and top connection are positioned to one side, with the vertical rod bore off-center. Up to three vertical ports are provided in the other side of the tree, for providing access to the production casing bore for an electric heating string, an instrumentation string and a small diameter injection tubing string. The ports accommodate sealed connection assemblies, from which the strings extend. The upper portion of the other side of the tree is cut away to create space for introducing the connecting assemblies. The tubing hanger is provided with matching bores.
Abstract: An electric light set for decorating and illuminating Christmas trees and the like, having a plurality of pairs of electrical connecting wires radiating from a sealed, ring-shaped conductor housing. Each of the pairs of electrical connecting wires connects a plurality of electrical light bulb sockets for receipt of the light bulbs used with the light set. The ring-shaped conductor housing can be easily fitted over the top of a Christmas tree with the pairs of electrical connecting wires radiating downward and outward such that the light bulbs decorate and illuminate the Christmas tree. With an alternate embodiment, the ring-shaped conductor housing can be attached to the surface of a window or other similar object.
Abstract: A plant information display method for displaying elements related to a plant in a tree view of hierarchical representation comprises the steps of a tree view display step of displaying plural tree view representations based on different viewpoints side by side and a relation display step of graphically displaying a relation between elements separately contained in the plural tree view representations, which are displayed in the tree view display step. In this method, plural tree view representations based on different viewpoints are displayed side by side and a relation between elements, which are separately contained in the plural tree view representations displayed side by side, is graphically displayed.

Abstract: A plant trimming apparatus comprises a cutting device operated in conjunction with a support apparatus. The cutting device includes an elongated handle member attached to a cutter, the cutter being preferably an electrical chain saw or tree trimmer. A power cord for the electric cutter is carried through a hollow portion of the handle to an electrical outlet or generator which provides power. The handle is preferably a hollow PVC tube. The handle is supported by a fulcrum apparatus which provides leverage for manipulating the cutter. The fulcrum apparatus comprises a pair of hollow tubes hingedly connected together to provide a V-shaped fulcrum point in which the handle rests. A third leg of pipe is hingedly connected to one of the legs, further down from the fulcrum point, to act as a third leg of a tripod. The third leg can be raised and held in the operator's hand for moving the fulcrum point fore and aft during the cutting operation.
Abstract: An artificial Christmas tree having a hollow tree trunk and a plurality of branches. Each branch has a connector for attaching it to the tree trunk. Each connector includes a pair of electrical contacts connected to electric lamps disposed in the branch with the electrical contacts engaging a mating pair of electrical contacts in the tree trunk when the branch is attached thereto. Electrical power is supplied to the lamps from a conventional household electrical power source through an electrical circuit inside of the hollow tree trunk interconnecting the mating electrical contacts.
Abstract: The operation of a nuclear fueled, electric power generating unit is monitored by utilizing decision tree analysis of selected system parameters to generate a representation of the real time system status. Current system status is presented to the operator either in the form of conclusory indications, such as verbal statements, representative of system status, or in the form of a visual display of the entire decision tree including indications of the path through the tree representative of current conditions. In either case, indications of off-normal conditions are accompanied by directions as to appropriate action to be taken, either by the operator or the automatic control system, to steer the system toward more acceptable conditions. In addition, the status indications are prioritized to indicate the seriousness of the off-normal conditions and to direct the sequence of corrective action to be taken when multiple off-normal conditions exist.

Abstract: A multi-sectional artificial tree with a tree lighting system. The tree includes a DC power converter, and lower and upper tree sections. Each tree section includes a tree frame with groups of branches and light sets in a ratio of one light set per branch. The thin, single-conductor wires of each light set are affixed only to a single branch to prevent bending and breaking. Each group of branches and light sets is positioned at a particular height on the trunk of the tree. An upper tree section includes fewer branches per group, as compared to a lower section, and thus includes fewer light sets per group. The light sets are wired in series from branch-to-branch, though the number of light sets per group varies from section to section. Consequently, a resistive load is used in the upper tree section to adjust a voltage applied to individual light sets.
Abstract: A node includes a processor that is configured to derive, based on a delivery tree for a content, a logical sub tree structure including a first layer node and second layer nodes lower than the first layer node; calculate first electric power information used for caching the content in the first layer node in the sub tree structure; compare the first electric power information to second electric power information calculated by the second layer nodes in the sub tree structure and used for caching the content in the second layer nodes, then calculate a threshold for a content request rate for each of the second layer nodes; provide control to set the calculated threshold to the second layer nodes; and determine possibility of a cache allocation of the content by comparing a measured content request rate with the threshold.
