  • Patent number: 7167350
Abstract: The voltage tolerant circuit with improved latchup suppression includes: a diode device having a first end coupled to a source voltage node; a first NWELL guard ring surrounding the diode device; a diode coupled between a second end of the string of diodes and an output pad; a second NWELL guard ring surrounding the diode; and a transistor device coupled between the output pad and a substrate node. The NWELL guardrings disrupt the parasitic SCR operation by adding an additional N+ diffusion without affecting the substrate pump current delivered by the diode.

  • Patent number: 7006353
Abstract: A heat sink is fastened to an annular portion of a substrate of an integrated circuit module on a printed circuit card by means of a cured layer of cure shrinkable adhesive. A circuit chip is soldered to a central portion of the substrate, around which the annular portion extends. A layer of thermally conductive material is placed between the circuit chip and a central portion of the heat sink, to be compressed as the layer of cure shrinkable adhesive is cured. A compression limiting structure may additionally extend between the heat sink and the annular portion of the substrate, limiting the shrinkage of the adhesive and thus the compression of the thermally conductive material and the flexure of the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20150023504
Abstract: A method includes, in a mobile communication terminal, receiving a signal, which carries media content that has been encrypted after being compressed in accordance with a compression protocol having a plurality of predefined configurations. Each configuration specifies a respective compression mode of the compression protocol. The received signal is decrypted, and one or more parameters that define a configuration of the compression protocol that was used for compressing the media content are determined from the decrypted signal. An absence of match is detected when the determined one or more parameters do not match any of the plurality of predetermined configurations of the compression protocol. An error in decrypting the received signal is identified based on detecting the absence of a match.

  • Publication number: 20150316490
Abstract: Metrology methods and respective software and module are provided, which identify and remove measurement inaccuracy which results from process variation leading to target asymmetries. The methods comprise identifying an inaccuracy contribution of process variation source(s) to a measured scatterometry signal (e.g., overlay) by measuring the signal across a range of measurement parameter(s) (e.g., wavelength, angle) and targets, and extracting a measurement variability over the range which is indicative of the inaccuracy contribution. The method may further assume certain functional dependencies of the resulting inaccuracy on the target asymmetry, estimate relative donations of different process variation sources and apply external calibration to further enhance the measurement accuracy.

  • Patent number: 7304846
Abstract: Disclosed is a heatsink device of video graphics array (VGA) and chipset. The main characteristic is making an integrated design for heatsink devices. Using a heatsink plate stacks on VGA and chipset instead of several ones as before. The heatsink plate has more heat dissipation area than that of conventional heatsink. The device also integrates other heat generated elements stacking below the heatsink plate to dissipating more heat, so as to increase heat dissipation effect of the heatsink plate. The device makes the operation of VGA and chipset more effectively and increases their life-time.

  • Patent number: 10700882
Abstract: A Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF) can maintain a mapping table that associates gateway identifiers of gateways in a packet core network with corresponding IP address ranges. Based on an IP address of user equipment (UE), the PCRF can identify which of the IP address ranges in the mapping table over the UE's IP address, and which gateway identifier is mapped to that IP address range. The PCRF can accordingly contact the identified gateway to establish a Gx session for the UE with the gateway, such as restoring a previous Gx session or establishing a new Gx session.
