Abstract: A sump pump system includes a remote pressure responsive switch assembly designed for a wall plug and having a plug in connection for the pump motor cord, the pressure responsive switch assembly also having an air pressure connection to the sump pump for actuating the switch in response to a rise in level of water around the pump.
Abstract: Apparatus for filtering spa water includes a therapy pump and a circulation pump. A filter of unitary construction includes a surface loading filter element for filtering water passing through the therapy pump and a depth loading filter element for filtering water passing through the circulation pump. A connector releasably interconnects the two filter elements.
Abstract: An impermeable, vibrating pillow is provided with suction cups so that it may be conveniently bonded temporarily to the surface of a bathtub, jacuzzi or the like to support the neck, feet, or other regions of the body and provide a gentle, relaxing massage by virtue of the vibrator, which is embedded in the foam portion of the cushion and is actuated through the resilient cover by a pressure switch which is preferably mounted just inside one end of the cushion.
Abstract: A filter including one or more regenerative plates which can be moved along the surfaces of filter grids to simultaneously create turbulence and physically dislodge a filter media cake within the filter by use of an externally extending driver rod, so as to regenerate the filter media.

Abstract: A tape joint for cylindrical members is provided wherein a flexible tape member is inserted into a cavity between telescoping first and second cylindrical members in a twisted manner so as to lock the members together as a unit. The tape member is manually slip fitted into position and is provided with a handle for aiding in the insertion and removal of the tape member.
Abstract: A method for treating medical disorders manifesting themselves in the blood, including diabetes and anemia, by exposing the sufferer to audible acoustic waves from a transducer immersed in liquid. The person is preferably placed between one and twenty feet from the wave source, and is preferably exposed to waves at a frequency of about 600 Hertz for approximately twenty five minutes. In one embodiment, the person sits in a jacuzzi-like container together with the transducer.

Abstract: A pillow structure is releasably connected to a hot tub shell. The pillow structure includes a border pillow having an opening providing access to the border pillow interior and an insert pillow releasably attached to the border pillow. When in place, the insert pillow covers the opening for preventing manual access to and viewing of connector structure utilized to attach the border pillow to the shell.
Abstract: Attachable and reattachable panels, particularly for water enclosing units, protect, enclose and/or cover an area such as a bathroom, steam room, shower, shower stall, bathtub, whirlpool bath, spa or the like. The panels include a clip assembly associated therewith for removably securing the panels in position and/or to other structural members. The clip assembly includes a male member and a female member, where the female member is configured for receiving the male member.
Abstract: The present invention is concerned with a method and a system for hydrostatic level readings of liquids in a container comprising the steps of providing a pressure sensor capable of determining a pressure value in a suction pipe, correlating said result to a predetermined liquid level value, and thereby obtaining a reading result of the level of the liquid in said container. The invention further discloses the use of the method and system for example for monitoring a heat system, for the petrochemical industry, for petrol containers in cars, for tank trucks and for Jacuzzis.
Abstract: A submersible electric D.C. motor is provided which has a housing that seals the motor from the surrounding water and holds in a controlled atmosphere which is made to be low in oxygen content and to have free water vapor. Magnetic means are provided to transmit mechanical energy through the housing and liquid means are provided to remove heat from the motor.

Abstract: A submersible bilge pump is used within a tub to provide a Jacuzzi-type jet spray. A mounting assembly enables the bilge pump to be located below the water in the tub, yet the mounting assembly allows for effective mounting to the tub to provide the water jet type action. The mounting assembly also allows for the submersible bilge pump to be rotatably fastened to the tub to provide a whirlpool type action when desired.
