Abstract: A filter bucket and a mop bucket movable relative to the filter bucket between a use position and a drain position. When the mop bucket is in the drain position, the water in the mop bucket drains into the filter bucket. A fluid flow path is provided between the filter bucket and the mop bucket and a filter is located in the fluid flow path such that water flows through the fluid flow path and the filter when the mop bucket is moved from the drain position to the use position.

Abstract: The invention relates to colloidal solutions of silver nanoparticles and to method of it preparation and can be used in different areas, particularly in medicine, veterinary science, food industry, cosmetology, household chemistry and agrochemistry. Method includes the electrochemical dissolution of silver in the deionized water. The silver in fine powder form with chemical purity of 99.999% and with nanoparticle sizes up to 100 nm is subjected to electrochemical dissolution in electrolyser, within which are located the electrodes in form of containers made from chemically neutral material, in which fine powder of silver from 100 to 150 g are placed, and by means of conductor covered by chemically neutral coat the direct voltage ranges from 30 to 45 volts is energized. Electrolysis is proceeded under conditions of cycling voltage polarity every 2 hours and mechanical stirring of solution 2 times in twenty-four hours until the concentration of silver in colloidal solution from 5.0 to 100 mg/l.

Abstract: The translation lookaside buffer (TLB) of a processor is kept in synchronization with a guest page table by use of an indicator referred to as a âTâ bit. The T bit of the NPT/EPT entries mapping the guest page table are set when a page walk is performed on the NPT/EPT. When modifications are made to pages mapped by NPT/EPT entries with their T bit set, changes to the TLB are made so that the TLB remains in synchronization with the guest page table. Accordingly, record/replay of virtual machines of virtualized computer systems may be performed reliably with no non-determinism introduced by stale TLBs that fall out of synchronization with the guest page table.

Abstract: The systems and methods described herein relate to solid-state light sources capable of generating radiation beams for, but not limited to, the treatment of surfaces, bulk materials, films, and coatings. The solid-state ultraviolet source optically combines the light output of at least two and preferably as many four independently controllable discrete solid-state light emitters to produce a light beam that has a controllable multi-wavelength spectrum over a wide range of wavelengths (i.e. deep UV to near-IR). Specific features of this light source permit changes in the spectral, spatial and temporal distribution of light for use in curing, surface modification and other applications.

Abstract: A computer system may generate a lineage graph for a data processing system. The lineage graph may contain one or more nodes, and it may identify the flow of data through the data processing system. The computer system may determine that a first node in the lineage graph defunct. The computer system may then generate a report for the data processing system and provide the report to a user. The report may include an explanation of why the first node is defunct. The computer system may insert an indication that the first node is defunct into metadata for the first node. The indication may also include the explanation of why the first node is defunct.

Abstract: A method of detection of chromatographic peaks in gas-liquid or gas-solid chromatography, comprising the ionization of the organic or metallo-organic compounds separated in a chromatographic column and removed in the form of fractions out of the column by an inert gaseous carrier. The ionization of the above compounds is effected by way of burning them in the flame of formic acid vapours. Simultaneously with the ionization, chromatographic peaks are recorded by means of the electrometric method based on measurement of the increase in the degree of the ionization of the flame as the above organic or metallo-organic compounds are being introduced thereinto.

Abstract: Segregation of carbon or alloying elements in a solidifying liquid core during casting of a continuous metal strand of high carbon steel or alloy steel, are disbursed by vibrating hammers engaged with a solidified shell enclosing a liquid steel core. The hammers are located before the end of the liquid core. A vibrator operating at a frequency of between 1000 and 5000 cycles per minute is coupled to the hammers by a support structure forming a dead weight mass for maintaining a metal-to-metal contact with the solidified shell while vibrated by the vibrator. The support structure is guided for stabilizing the hammers and for displacement of the hammers between an operative position and inoperative position.

Abstract: The biological functionality of living microbial spores is modified using phenotypic engineering to endow the resulting modified spores with novel functionality that extends the usefulness of the spores for a variety of practical applications including, for example, sterility testing, the release of active compounds, and cell-based biosensing systems. An embodiment entails engineering Bacillus spores to acquire synthetic new functions that enable the modified spores to sense and rapidly transduce specific germination signals in their surroundings. The newly acquired functions allow the spores to perform, for example, as self-reporters of cellular viability, self-indicating components of cell-based biosensors, and in other analytical systems. Also disclosed are methods for testing adequate sterility of a system by using engineered spores.
