  • Publication number: 20160378428
Abstract: Disclosed is a hardware controller that may interact with audio, lighting, or other computer componentry to control various digital parameters of the same. The presently disclosed controller allows for button presses, knob twisting, and slider engagement, but does so in a manner that remains intuitive without the need for partitioning a mixer into separate sections for independent devices. In this manner, the present invention avoids the need for a large physical footprint that would otherwise require a large amount of space and the use of multiple hands over a period of time by the user.

  • Publication number: 20020170585
Abstract: A filter cleaning and rinsing device for spas, pools, and Jacuzzi's that attaches to a garden hose for cleaning or rinsing a cartridge type spa filter by placing the filter on an inclining armature of the device. The armature sprays water inside the filter cartridge and is the centrifugally forced out through the fabric elements of the filter by high pressure spray jets trained on the exterior of the filter cartridge which simultaneously clean the exterior and spin the filter around the armature at a high speed creating the centrifugal force. The device may be molded and assembled using the same manufacturing processes as those used to make the spas which utilize cartridge type filters.

  • Publication number: 20080282466
Abstract: The invention relates to a waster trap assembly of the type which can be used in a drain hole of, for example, a sink or bath. The assembly includes sealing means such that the assembly can be moved axially between a sealing position and an open, drainage position. In the drainage position, debris is collected in a waste collecting means of the assembly rather than passing into the drain hole. The waste collecting means is provided to be manipulated between a waste collecting configuration in which the same is typically held when in the drain hole and a waste discarding configuration to which the same can be moved when it is desired to discard collected waste from the assembly.

  • Patent number: 4944653
Abstract: A pump for use with a hydrotherapy tub or spa is provided wherein the compression of the pump seal located between the impeller and the drive shaft opening is controllable such that a minimum compression and thus minimum heat generation occurs at a no-load or dry condition of the pump, but maximum compression and thus maximum sealing occurs at a full-load condition. The impeller is mounted on the drive shaft in an axially movable manner with the impeller eye facing the motor so that axial loading by the impeller under load is toward the motor thus compressing the interposed seal.
