    Abstract: Systems, apparatus, and methods for detecting air breathed by a user and/or one or more gases are provided herein. In some embodiments, an apparatus may include a test material adapted to reduce in size when exposed to one or more stimuli. In some embodiments, one or more chemicals may be disposed on the test material and, when exposed to the air breathed by the user, the one or more chemicals are adapted to transform from a first color to a second color. In some embodiments, when the test material reduces in size an intensity of the second color increases. The apparatus may further include a face mask. In this regard, the test material may be removably attached to the face mask. The apparatus may further include a spectrophotometer configured to determine if the one or more chemicals have transformed from the first color to the second color.

In one embodiment, a method includes filtering disfavored images from first training data to produce second training data that is a subsampled version of the first training data. The disfavored images correspond with anomaly maps within a set of depth maps. The first depth model is trained according to the first training data and generates the depth maps from the first training data after initially being trained with the first training data. The method includes training a second depth model according to a self-supervised training process using the second training data. The method includes providing the second depth model to infer distances from monocular images.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a radar ranging system based on a true random generator and a ranging method thereof. The present disclosure adopts the following technical scheme: the system comprises a radar signal modulation and transmission unit and a radar signal receiving and processing unit, wherein the radar signal modulation and transmission unit inputs and stores a true random binary sequence generated by the true random generator in a memory, and cyclically outputs the true random binary sequence to a BPSK modulator for phase modulation. The receiving and amplifying unit receives the reflected radar signal. The down-sampling unit down samples the intermediate frequency signal generated by the mixers. The data processing unit converts the sampled analog signal into a digital signal and cross-correlates the signal with the true random binary sequence in the memory, so as to obtain the distance to the object side to be measured.

    Abstract: A connector for use with high-speed signals. The connector includes a connector subassembly having conductors disposed in groups and a shielding shell at least partially encircling each group. Each conductor includes a mating end and a mounting end opposite the mating end. The shielding shell includes openings that expose contact surfaces of the conductors at the ends. The shielding shell is formed by attaching a second shell part to a first shell part. The first shell part has plateaus and valleys, and the second shell part is attached to the first shell part at the valleys, such that tubular structures are formed. The shielding shell includes contact surfaces disposed on the same planes with the contact surfaces of the conductors at the ends, respectively. Such a configuration meets signal integrity requirements in connectors designed for 64 Gbps and beyond, while conforming to a standard that constrains mating and mounting interfaces.
