Abstract: A concentrate adaptor for a vaporizer device includes a reservoir and a base. The reservoir holds a concentrate. The reservoir is positioned within a vessel of the vaporizer device and is heated by a heating element of the vaporizer device to transfer heat to the concentrate, thereby generating an aerosol for inhalation by a user. The reservoir includes a sidewall surrounding an interior volume of the reservoir. The reservoir also includes a capillary structure positioned along the sidewall configured to direct the concentrate to the sidewall to be heated by the heating element.

Abstract: In certain example embodiments, an air delivery system includes a controllable flow generator operable to generate a supply of pressurized breathable gas to be provided to a patient for treatment and a pulse oximeter. In certain example embodiments, the pulse oximeter is configured to determine, for example, a measure of patient effort during a treatment period and provide a patient effort signal for input to control operation of the flow generator. Oximeter plethysmogram data may be used, for example, to determine estimated breath phase; sleep structure information; autonomic improvement in response to therapy; information relating to relative breathing effort, breathing frequency, and/or breathing phase; vasoconstrictive response, etc. Such data may be useful in diagnostic systems.

Abstract: A device for generating a scented mist of an atomized liquid fragrance oil includes an atomizer complex, a reservoir assembly, a drainage tube, and a vacuum tube. The atomizer complex can atomize the liquid fragrance oil into a scented mist and deliver the scented mist to air outside of the atomizer complex, where the liquid fragrance oil the fragrance oil that is not atomized into the scented mist delivered to the air outside of the atomizer complex includes collected oil that is collected and drained to a reservoir assembly. A drainage tube extends from a bottom area of the atomizer complex into the liquid fragrance oil. The device can filter the liquid fragrance oil in the reservoir assembly and the collected oil from the atomizer complex that drained down the drainage tube. The vacuum tube can suction the filtered liquid fragrance oil and the collected oil into the atomizer complex for atomization.

The control device has a frequency range, a firing configuration and a firing sequence. The field generator generates electrical signals within the frequency range. The electrodes are placed in optimized locations on the patient. Each electrode includes a ceramic layer, a metalized layer and a circuit element. The metalized layer is coupled to the ceramic layer on one side of the ceramic layer. The metalized layer has an outer surface facing away from the ceramic layer. The circuit element is coupled to the metalized layer. The coupling of the circuit element to the metalized layer is across substantially all of the outer surface of the metalized layer. The circuit element conducts the electrical signals to the metalized layer as directed by the control device.

Abstract: Systems slow breathing with positive pressure therapy. In embodiments, a current interim breathing rate target is set, and periodically magnitude of a variable pressure waveform scaled to the current interim breathing rate target is increased if breathing rate is greater than the interim rate target to lengthen breath duration. The magnitude of the pressure increase may be a function of the difference between the interim rate target and the breathing rate. The interim rate target may be reduced in response to slowing breathing rate. The waveform cycles, inhalation to exhalation, when airflow decreases to a cycle threshold. Different interim rate targets have different cycle threshold functions that allow easier cycling as the interim rate targets decrease. Similarly, the waveform triggers, exhalation to inhalation, when airflow increases to a trigger threshold. Different interim rate targets have different trigger threshold functions that allow easier triggering as the interim rate targets decrease.
