Abstract: In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a backup module configured to receive, from a compute device, a copy of user data associated with a user and generated at the compute device. The backup module is configured to store the copy of user data in a storage device. The backup module is configured to provide a user interface for the user to access the copy of user data. The backup module is configured to receive, from a user device associated with the user, an indication of a subset of the copy of user data. The backup module is configured to, in response to the indication, retrieve the subset of the copy of user data from the storage device and send the subset of the copy of user data to the compute device such that the subset of the copy of user data is restored at the compute device.
