Abstract: A system and method are provided for supplying electronic messages to a message recipient. The system includes a message server configured to distribute electronic messages. A plurality of electronic messages can be stored on the message server, and the plurality of electronic messages include video output for the message recipient. A message header can be stored on the message server for each electronic message. The message header refers to message blocks for message content and video output. A message client is also configured to first receive the message header when an electronic message is sent to the message recipient and to request the message blocks from the message server when the electronic message is accessed by the message recipient.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for compressing video frames having a plurality of pixels. The video frames are viewable by an end user on a display. The method can include the operation of receiving a color palette from a key frame of video. Then a color value can be identified from the color palette. The pixels within a current frame that use the same color value that has been identified can then be selected. A further operation is grouping a color value together with frame coordinates of each pixel that uses the color value following the color value.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for searching networked electronic media. The method includes the operation of mapping a user selected keyword to a category identifier for search result generation in a search engine. A search result can be produced that contains alisting of URLs for the category identifier. Then the search result can be dynamically populated with images through identity mapping of the image to a URL. The search can determine the display images to a URL based on a user's profile, like age, and the URL's popularity with other users sharing a similar user profile. The URLs and an associated image for the search can be obtained through a community of users.

Abstract: A method for generating a personal health record for a patient includes: providing a plurality of medical claim objects that are stored in a first format, the medical claim objects including medical claim codes indicative of medical claim events; and translating the medical claim objects from the first format into a second format to generate personal health record data. The personal health record can also include patient or practitioner entered data. The personal health record is portable and may be owned by the patient. Access to the personal health record can be given by a patient to a practitioner to the extent desired. The portable personal health record is stored in standard codes so that medical information, advertisements, queries, and the like can be readily translated to various reader levels to facilitate clear communication at the reader's education level and language.
