Abstract: A system to display multiple charts of related stock candidates and method thereof are described. Embodiments of the present invention solves problems of limited ability to simultaneously view multiple charts. It is an object of the present invention to provide for simultaneous viewing of multiple stock charts in one screen view.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for displaying marine electronic data. In one implementation, a non-transitory computer-readable medium has stored thereon a plurality of computer-executable instructions. When the plurality of computer-executable instructions are executed by a computer, the plurality of computer-executable instructions cause the computer to perform various actions. The actions may include receiving a user request for the computer to display two or more windows of chart data. The computer can then create the two or more windows on a screen of the computer. A first one of the two or more windows can display the chart data from a first source. A second one of the two or more windows can display the chart data from a second source.
Abstract: A novel telephone call center split monitoring and display system, uses an integrated three-dimensional bar chart to display multiple split activity information in a single view, enabling easy comparison and multiple split monitoring by split managers without crowded views or frequent toggling between several views.

Abstract: A method and computer system for implementing an enhanced interactive hierarchical chart legend and data displays with hierarchical data with multiple levels. A data hierarchy display chart visualization is generated. A legend associated with and independent of the display chart visualization is generated to display the data hierarchy in full as a tree structure. The legend is provided in a collapsible tree list format; and in response to a request, using the legend, a selected portion of the data hierarchy display chart visualization is displayed, showing the data hierarchy only on certain nodes of the tree structure.

Abstract: Disclosed are a system and a method for providing user-interactive parallel coordinates charts. In an embodiment, a machine data search and analysis system retrieves search results including a plurality of events, each of the events containing time-stamped data in response to a search query. The system identifies a plurality of characteristics from the data corresponding to the events. The system causes display of a multiple-dimensional chart (e.g., a parallel coordinates chart) depicting the data corresponding to the events. The multiple-dimensional chart includes a plurality of axes. Each of the axes corresponds to one of the identified characteristics. The multiple-dimensional chart further includes a plurality of polylines representing the events. Each of the polylines includes a plurality of vertices on the axes.

Abstract: A system and method for presenting and displaying multiple data in graphical form. A universal, objective, and quantifiable measuring presentation tool provides a quick graphic display of multiple data (e.g., parameters, functions, or metrics) under study. This data could be achievement, performance, accomplishment, or any other information that needs to be quantifiably and objectively measured and displayed using a number of user-defined criteria. The display provides for easy, quantifiable and objective visually graphic comparison among various entities whose parameters are being viewed.

Abstract: Automatic trend analysis is provided on a dataset. Upon selection of a data cell or chart point within a data representation, a trend chart is automatically generated in order to demonstrate how the data within the selection trends over time. The system may automatically configure the trend chart based on the metadata of a data source associated with a selected data such that no input or configuration is needed by a user. The system may identify the time hierarchies and other data attributes included in the metadata of the data source associated with a selected data cell and may automatically configure the axis settings and the trend lines according to metadata of the data source. The trend chart may also be configured to display multiple trend lines for comparing multiple data set trends over a specified time period.

Abstract: In embodiments of interactive visualization of trending data, a data visualization interface includes a charting region to display data in one of multiple chart formats, and the data visualization interface further includes data cards, each selectable to initiate a display of the data in one of the multiple chart formats. A data charting application is implemented to receive a request to display the data visualization interface at a client device, receive a user input selecting a data card to chart the data in a chart format associated with the data card, obtain the data that correlates to the selected data card from a database, and initiate a display of the data in the charting region of the data visualization interface in the chart format based on the selected data card.

Abstract: A method for displaying a price chart, the price chart including a plurality of regions includes displaying, by a charting engine, a first region including one or more historical completed price-range-over-time-range-type symbols, displaying, by the charting engine, a second region adjacent to the first region, the second region including a current uncompleted price range-over-an-uncompleted-time-range-type symbol corresponding to an uncompleted time range, and in response to determining that the uncompleted time range has completed, generating and displaying, in the first region, by the charting engine, a new historical completed price-range-over-time-range-type symbol adjacent to the one or more historical completed-price-range-over-time-range-type symbols, and erasing, in the second region, the current uncompleted price-range-over-an-uncompleted-time-range-type symbol.

Abstract: Some embodiments of the present invention include an apparatus for displaying line charts with responsive line thickness using a display screen of a mobile computing system and include a processor, and one or more stored sequences of instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to receive a request to display a line chart on a display screen of a mobile computing system with the line chart having multiple line segments, determine density of information to be displayed with the line chart, and display the line chart with thickness of lines of the line chart corresponding to the determined density of information. The thickness of the line segments of the line chart is relatively thinner when the line chart includes higher density of information and relatively thicker when the line chart includes lower density of information.

Abstract: A hierarchical graphical listing or chart rendered on a display includes multiple nodes that are at different hierarchical levels and may include connecting branches that represent hierarchical links. Each of nodes is active and has an action associated with it so that the action is integrated into the information in the listing. In addition, the hierarchical graphical listings allow simple retrieval of information from a database record having plural fields. In one implementation, multiple successive hierarchical graphical listings are rendered. A user selects from each listing a node that corresponds to information of interest, as well as a field in a database record. The user selections of nodes from successive hierarchical graphical listings are tracked, and a database query is formed from the sequence of selections.
Abstract: A statistical process control chart includes a single display for the data and for an analysis of the data, e.g., in the form of one or more graphical charts. The chart can be implemented in a spreadsheet having multiple pages, including a page for entry of the data and a page implementing the single display. Space is also provided for entry of root causes and corrective action. The analysis performed on the data can include a Pareto analysis or a graph of an error rate in parts per million.
