Abstract: In embodiments of interactive visualization of trending data, a data visualization interface includes a charting region to display data in one of multiple chart formats, and the data visualization interface further includes data cards, each selectable to initiate a display of the data in one of the multiple chart formats. A data charting application is implemented to receive a request to display the data visualization interface at a client device, receive a user input selecting a data card to chart the data in a chart format associated with the data card, obtain the data that correlates to the selected data card from a database, and initiate a display of the data in the charting region of the data visualization interface in the chart format based on the selected data card.

Abstract: A method, article of manufacture, and apparatus for displaying search results are disclosed. In an embodiment, this may comprise receiving search results, for a search result, receiving information about search result scores according to a plurality of criteria, using the plurality of criteria to create spokes in a radar chart, associating the search result scores with the spokes in the radar chart, creating a star in the radar chart based on the association of search result scores with the spokes, and displaying the radar chart. Different weight may be given to each search result score. Multiple search results may be displayed in one radar chart, or multiple radar charts may be used.
Abstract: An improved machine programming and control system includes the utilization of a continuous, multiple-block, flow chart or charts, all or a portion of which is displayed. Each entered flow chart is executed without conversion to other languages, such that machines are controlled in accordance with the flow charts that are displayed. Multiple flow charts may be entered each to separately control different machines or different parts of the same machine. The flow charts are displayed in a multiple-block presentation and a block numbering system permits rapid on-screen generation of flow charts, editing of the flow charts, and debugging of the flow charts through the utilization of an interrupt. A uniquely improved debugging system, active on an execution interrupt, permits rapid value changing for selected displayed flow chart blocks and permits a single-scan program rerun for verification.
Abstract: A system to display multiple charts of related stock candidates and method thereof are described. Embodiments of the present invention solves problems of limited ability to simultaneously view multiple charts. It is an object of the present invention to provide for simultaneous viewing of multiple stock charts in one screen view.

Abstract: Handheld patient-monitoring device is provided that includes a touchscreen having a display area. The touchscreen is configured to present a first chart section in the display area of the touchscreen. The device is also configured to detect an input gesture on the touchscreen that is indicative of a swipe along the touchscreen. The device is also configured to replace, in response to detecting the input gesture, the first chart section with a second chart section such that the second chart section is presented in the display area and the first chart section is not presented in the display area. The second chart section has at least one parameter region that displays information relating to a respective patient parameter. Replacement of the first chart section with the second chart section is visually indicated to the user.

Abstract: An electronic medical records system providing a graphical user interface for receipt of data into a shared “chart” configured to receive data associated with multiple associated patients (e.g., mother and baby). The system is structured to provide a link from the shared chart to the electronic medical records of individual patients associated with the shared chart, and to provide data sharing and/or automated population of data from the shared chart into multiple linked electronic medical records of multiple patients in an appropriate selective fashion. The shared chart may be structured to gather information according to particular clinical workflows for multiple patients, and on a single interface window displayable on a single display screen. The system avoids duplicative data entry and associated errors while ensuring that the both related charts are up to date, and allows for compact data input and display relative to available physical space on a display device.
Abstract: Automated generation of graphical displays of industrial process data tags including three trend charts for each data tag. The displays include trend charts for the time-weighted average, the minimum value, and the maximum value over a predetermined time period. Altering the transparency of the trend charts for the minimum value and maximum value enables displaying data for multiple tags on a single chart.

Abstract: Some embodiments of the present invention include an apparatus for displaying line charts with responsive line thickness using a display screen of a mobile computing system and include a processor, and one or more stored sequences of instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to receive a request to display a line chart on a display screen of a mobile computing system with the line chart having multiple line segments, determine density of information to be displayed with the line chart, and display the line chart with thickness of lines of the line chart corresponding to the determined density of information. The thickness of the line segments of the line chart is relatively thinner when the line chart includes higher density of information and relatively thicker when the line chart includes lower density of information.

Abstract: Displaying analysis information about a portfolio across several charts and tables becomes more meaningful when the properties and behavior of a selected group of securities, or a pertinent field, is displayed in multiple charts and tables showing different parameters and functions of the selected group of securities, or unifying field. The selection of one group of securities in one chart or table may either highlight or filter that same selected group of securities across all displayed charts and tables. Moreover, selecting a different grouping scheme for one chart or table causes the display of the modified grouping scheme in all other charts and tables. Furthermore, based on the resulting information in the charts and tables the user may select different groups of securities, directly from the charts and tables, to be included in, excluded from, or have set constraints in subsequent analysis.
Abstract: A method, article of manufacture, and apparatus for displaying search results are disclosed. In an embodiment, this may comprise receiving search results, receiving information about search result scores according to a plurality of criteria, creating a star in the radar chart based on the search result scores, coloring the star based on the search result scores, and displaying the radar chart. Different weight may be given to each search result score. Multiple search results may be displayed in one radar chart, or multiple radar charts may be used. Color intensity and hue may be used to represent difference in the search result scores.
Abstract: A method and computer system for implementing an enhanced interactive hierarchical chart legend and data displays with hierarchical data with multiple levels. A data hierarchy display chart visualization is generated. A legend associated with and independent of the display chart visualization is generated to display the data hierarchy in full as a tree structure. The legend is provided in a collapsible tree list format; and in response to a request, using the legend, a selected portion of the data hierarchy display chart visualization is displayed, showing the data hierarchy only on certain nodes of the tree structure.

Abstract: A system and method provides security information by allowing the user to choose from among tools that will be displayed to the user, some of which may be displayed in a manner that replaces a display of a different tool when the user selects it. Some tools such as a series of small charts displayed on the user's computer screen will display information regarding multiple securities, while multiple other tools display information about a single security selected by the user, for example, by the user clicking on the small chart corresponding to that security.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for filtering and displaying different scenarios are provided. Gantt charts illustrating multiple scenarios for performing projects are generated by a computer system. The projects shown in the Gantt charts are filtered by the computer system so that only projects which exhibit differences between the multiple scenarios are displayed. The computer system may display projects with differences that exceed a threshold. Gantt charts may be displayed by computer systems along with risk matrices describing the risks involved in one or more of the projects. Risk matrices plot risk values associated with projects. Computer systems may group projects with similar risk values into bins.
