Abstract: An interactive seating device such as a stool or chair which makes it possible for an individual to sit down without having to lower himself to do so, the seated individual being thereafter assisted in getting up from the seat. The device includes an articulated seat whose front segment is hinged to a rear segment and is so linked thereto that in a perching mode in which the rear segment is at an elevated level and the front segment is folded down, an individual can then perch on the rear segment without having to lower himself. The rear segment is mounted on a depressible spring mechanism supported on a stand that normally raises the seat to the perching mode level. When the individual perches on the rear segment, the resultant load imposed thereon depresses and thereby energizes the spring mechanism, causing the seat to sink to a sitting mode level at which the front segment is outstretched to fully support the seated individual.

Abstract: A bird perch unit is configured with a body coupleable to a bird cage and having an outer surface which is grippeable by a bird, and an interactive toy coupled to the body and alterable by the bird.
Abstract: The invention is a low center of gravity animal toy. The toy is a skate type device that includes a perch mounted on a pedestal. The perch is knurled for extra grip and enables an animal, usually a large bird, to grip the skate and shuffle in skating fashion over a surface. The device includes a training bar for teaching the appropriate motion to skate. Safe and fun interactive and solo play for parrots or other animals is provided.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a novelly, bird-friendly, Bird Perch arrangement, system and assembly having, ideally, from one to four perch subassemblies, and a support base designed to interact with various, upper support areas such as branches and lower supported members such as conventional bird feeders. Each of the subassemblies is provided with main central portions which provide an arched flexible or solid support for special coiled portions which extend, preferably, in an outboard cascade or arrangement in relation to the support base. Each of the coils is constructed to be convoluted or inwardly coiling or arced, so that between 1 and 1.5 revolutions is achieved in relation to the beginning position of each coil.
Abstract: A computer implemented method includes receiving media content for interactive product display systems used with different products in different retail establishments. Product interaction data characterizing consumer gestures performed in connection with the different products in the different retail establishments is collected. The media content and product interaction data is analyzed to form marketing data. The display of media content at an interactive product display system of a retail establishment is remotely initiated.

Abstract: An interactive display case having a first frame, a plurality of storage areas within the first frame, a second frame, and processing circuitry. The processing circuitry is configured to detect an object passing through the interior of the second frame, identify an area within the interior of the second frame in which the object passes, where the area corresponding to one of the storage areas, and generate interaction data corresponding to the identified area.

Abstract: A bird feeder having at least one landing area for providing activities to birds as the birds wait for an open feeding area. A plurality of various mechanical elements can be positioned with respect to the landing area to promote interaction between the waiting birds, and allows the birds to feed more ergonomically correct. The bird can choose an individual element and its relation with respect to that element, while feeding. A number of versatile elements and perching positions are available for the bird to feed, or just rest. The bird feeder design better accommodates feeding birds, due to the ergonomic and feeding position benefits.
Abstract: An animal water toy that includes one or more playthings carried by flowing water that entices an animal, such as a cat, into interaction therewith. Playthings can be received in a container having water drinkable by the animal that is propelled by a pump into flowing and carrying the playthings. A portion can be upraised above the water providing an animal perch and/or flow director imparting flow deviations causing unpredictable plaything movement helping enhance animal interaction. A conveyance device can be provided conveying playthings relative to the flow. A pet watering device, e.g., fountain, can include an animal toy constructed in accordance with the present invention and a conveyance device lifting playthings from one level of the watering device to another. In one embodiment, playthings are animal attractant objects that can be buoyant and configured to attract an animal, such as by its color, graphics, indicia, and/or shape.

Abstract: An animal scratching post with food dispenser is described. Embodiments of the animal scratching post can include, but are not limited to, a base structure, a control module, an activation module, a food dispensing device, and one or more scratch pads operatively connected to the activation module. The base structure can include one or more perches and an internally located conduit for delivering food from the food dispensing device to a lower section of the base structure. The control module can be configured to receive a signal from the activation module indicating the scratch pad has been interacted with by an animal and send a signal to the food dispensing device to dispense food.
