Abstract: A bicycle suspension system of the present invention generally includes a bicycle suspension and a hydraulic control assembly. The hydraulic control assembly includes a fluid pump, a fluid responder and a fluid path. The fluid pump is mountable to a bicycle handlebar. The fluid responder is mountable to the bicycle suspension. The fluid path links the fluid pump and the fluid responder. The fluid responder is operatively connected to the bicycle suspension to operate the bicycle suspension between first and second suspension settings in response to fluid displacement between the fluid pump and the fluid responder.
Abstract: A pressurized air supply system for providing pressurized air to an air powered derailleur of a bicycle having a bicycle frame. The system comprises an air pumping mechanism attached to the bicycle frame and adapted to supply pressurized air when actuated. Fluidly connected to the pumping mechanism and to the derailleur is a pressure reservoir of the system. The pumping mechanism is attached to the bicycle frame such that the passage of the bicycle over uneven terrain facilitates the actuation of the pumping mechanism and resultant charging of the pressure reservoir with pressurized air.

Abstract: The dual function bicycle air hand pump has functions of bicycle air pump and exerciser. The piston of the dual function bicycle air hand pump has installed a piston which has an off-center threaded canal, which can be closed either by a one-way valve threaded tube and or by a bolt. By simply exchanging the one-way valve threaded tube with a bolt and vice versa, the dual function bicycle air hand pump can be used as a bicycle air pump or an exerciser. When one-way valve threaded tube is used to close the off-center threaded canal of the piston the dual function bicycle air hand pump can be used as an air pump to pump air into a bicycle tire. When a bolt is used to close the off-center threaded canal the dual function bicycle air hand pump can be used as an exerciser for the training of muscles. It is very easy to exchange the one-way valve threaded tube with a bolt and vice versa.
Abstract: A bicycle suspension system of the invention generally includes at least two bicycle suspensions and a hydraulic control assembly. The hydraulic control assembly includes a pair of fluid pumps, and a fluid responder and a fluid path for each of the bicycle suspensions. The fluid pumps are mountable to a bicycle handlebar and form part of the hydraulic control assembly. A fluid responder is mountable each of the bicycle suspensions. The fluid paths link the fluid pump to a respective fluid responder. Each fluid responder is operatively connected to one of the bicycle suspensions to operate the bicycle suspension system between first and second suspension settings in response to fluid displacement between each fluid pump and each of the fluid responders.

Abstract: An air pump assembly for a bicycle includes pump components contained within a tubular frame member of the bicycle. A handle extends through a slot in the bicycle frame for access to an operator, although a motor or solenoid contained in the bicycle frame could also be used.
Abstract: A bicycle pump and tire repair apparatus incorporating into a single unit an air pump for inflating a bicycle tire, a tire lever for removing a tire from a bicycle rim, a spoke wrench for repairing and adjusting the spokes of a rim, and a compartment for storing a patch for repairing a punctured bicycle tire is disclosed. The air pump is compactly designed for carrying on a bicycle. A thumblock on the head of the pump performs a dual function of locking the nozzle of the pump onto the valve of a tire being inflated, and it functions as a tire removal lever. A cap on the head of the pump has a knurled surface for abrading an inner tube to prepare it for application of a patch. A slot in the pump handle holds a second tire lever, and a compartment in the end cap of the handle stores a self-adhesive patch for repairing a punctured tire.

Abstract: A bracket for securely attaching a bicycle pump to a tubular frame member of a bicycle comprises a base having a surface curved to fit partly around a tubular frame member and a plurality of ties extending through holes in the base for securing the base to the bicycle frame member. Hooks formed of resilient, U-shaped circularly bent strips are fixed to and extend laterally in opposite directions from sides of the base so that a bicycle pump may be placed between the hooks and twisted to snap the pump body into both of the resilient hooks, which then securely press the pump body against the bracket base and resiliently hold the pump in place.
Abstract: A bicycle pump which has a pivoting footpeg on which the user may stand to secure the pump against the ground. The pump has a pivoting handle which includes a spring which forces apart the base and handle of the pump so that the pump can be secured in tension on a bicycle frame.
Abstract: A hydraulically driven bicycle frame with two axle members coupled to the bicycle frame and front and rear wheels mounted on such axles for rotation about the axis of the respective axle and a pair of pedals mounted on a pedal drive shaft coupled to the bicycle frame for rotation for applying manual power for operating the hydraulic system of the bicycle. The hydraulically driven bicycle has a hydraulic pump mechanism and a hydraulic drive mechanism. The hydraulic pump mechanism is operated by rotational movement of the pedal drive shaft. The hydraulic pump mechanism includes a pump housing having two sectional pump housing members that form a pump chamber between them. The two sectional pump housing members are capable of relative movement with respect to each other so that the pump chamber is capable of being varied in size for varying the flow of fluid through the pump mechanism.
Abstract: A bicycle air pump includes a cylinder adapted to be secured to the bicycle frame having a cylinder bore within which a piston reciprocates, a crank shaft rotatably supported on the cylinder and drivingly coupled to the piston by means of a connecting rod and a driving mechanism for coupling the crank shaft to the bicycle chain to be driven thereby so that when the bicycle pedals are actuated to drive the bicycle chain, the bicycle chain forces the crank shaft to rotate and thus making the piston reciprocate within the cylinder bore to pump air through an outlet of the cylinder.
Abstract: A water amusement and hydration bicycle can include a bicycle frame and a container to contain water carried by the bicycle frame, the container having an outlet port and a multipurpose port. The bicycle can also include an amusement nozzle removably coupled to the outlet port. The bicycle can further include a drinking nozzle removably coupleable to the multipurpose port. The bicycle can still further include a water pump carried by the bicycle frame and operable to pump the water from the container through the outlet port for delivery to the amusement nozzle. In addition, the bicycle can include a gas pump operable to pressurize gas in the container to move the water from the container through the multipurpose port for delivery to the drinking nozzle when the drinking nozzle is coupled to the multipurpose port. The multipurpose port can be coupleable to a water source to provide water to the container.

Abstract: A combination lock and pump for use with a bicycle. The combination lock and pump has a flexible cable including an inflation tube running parallel with a metal rope or chain. The flexible cable has a male end preferably including a lock bolt or shackle and a piston-cylinder pump. The flexible cable also has a female end preferably including a lock cylinder with a key hole and one or more apertures to receive either a bicycle tire's valve stem or the male end's lock bolt or shackle. When used as a lock, the combination secures the bicycle from theft by looping the flexible cable around the bicycle and locking together its male and female ends. When used as a pump, the combination's female end attaches to the bicycle tire's valve stem and inflates the tire by actuating the pump of the male end.
