Abstract: A protection device comprising an inflatable member and one or more structures is described. The inflatable member comprises a first wall and a second wall that form an internal chamber. The one or more structures are housed in the internal chamber, and each structure in the one or more structures comprises a first mesh and a second mesh connected by a plurality of tie members. Methods for manufacturing such a protection device are also described.
Abstract: A protection device for the protection of a user is described. The protection device has an inflatable member in which an internal chamber is defined. The inflatable member includes at least one first layer and one second layer overlapped and joined by an adhesive layer. The adhesive layer includes polyurethane deriving from polycarbonate and/or polyurethane deriving from polyether.
