The takedown lever assembly includes a takedown actuation lever operable between a firing position and a takedown position, and a safety bar operatively coupled to the takedown actuation lever. The safety bar moves longitudinally along the frame in response to moving the takedown actuation lever from the firing position to the takedown position, thereby causing the sear to disengage from the striker.

Abstract: A breechblock assembly for a firearm includes a breechblock extending along a central axis and configured to reciprocate along a receiver of the firearm between a recoil position and a battery position. A lever on the breechblock is movable from a blocking position to a non-blocking position in response to the breechblock moving from the recoil position to the battery position. A spring biases the lever to the blocking position. When the lever is in the blocking position the lever prevents the firearm from firing.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for a slotted trigger actuation mechanism for a firearm are described herein. The slotted trigger actuation mechanism may be a slotted trigger bar interface. The slotted trigger bar interface may serve to increase a distance of trigger pull required to execute firing ammunition. A trigger body may comprise a trigger bias for increasing trigger work. The apparatus and method described herein may help to improve results during drop safety testing.
Abstract: An adjustable cheek riser for a firearm is disclosed herein. The adjustable cheek riser comprises a comb extension member configured to move between at least an expanded configuration and a retracted configuration. The adjustable cheek riser comprises at least one living hinge positioned on the comb extension member and at least one locking element, the at least one locking element being configured to switch between a locked and an unlocked position upon activation of the living hinge.

The sight drum rotates on a common axis with the elevation adjustment screw. The sight drum threadedly engages a threaded portion of the elevation adjustment screw.
Abstract: An air gun and methods of manufacture are provided. The air gun includes a barrel block pivotally attached to a compression fork. The barrel block includes two lateral wedges, one extending from each side of the barrel block. The wedges interact with complementary surfaces on the compression fork. This interaction reduces both lateral and vertical movement of the barrel resulting in greater accuracy and reduced need for re-sighting the air gun.

Abstract: A handguard assembly system for a firearm is disclosed. The system includes a handguard with an elongate perforated structure extending between a first end and a second end, where the handguard defines a handguard connector on the first end. An interfacing connector attaches to the handguard connector when the handguard is installed on the firearm. When installed on the firearm, the handguard extends over the barrel without directly contacting the barrel, and attaches to the firearm via the interfacing connector and an upper receiver connector on the firearm upper receiver.
Abstract: A firearm is described that includes an integrated power source, socket, and conductor connecting the power source to the socket. By integrating these elements into a firearm, a powered accessory can be attached to the firearm without the need for a mounting rail attached to a firearm. Furthermore, powered accessories need not have their own integrated power sources, but rather can connect to the power source within the firearm. This reduces the weight and physical dimensions of both firearms and accessories.

Abstract: A non-detachable magazine configured to be used for new manufacture of firearms or configured to replace a detachable magazine of an existing firearm is disclosed. The magazine may be pivotally mounted on a firearm using a hinge pin, allowing the feed end of the magazine to enter and retreat from the magazine well of the firearm. The magazine includes a magazine body and at least one arm connecting the magazine body to the hinge pin. In some embodiments, a firearm can be made compatible with the disclosed non-detachable magazine such that removal of the magazine is tantamount to disassembly of the firearm, and/or removal of the magazine renders the firearm inoperable.
