  • Patent number: 10724814
Abstract: A takedown lever assembly for a striker-fired handgun. The takedown lever assembly includes a takedown actuation lever operable between a firing position and a takedown position, and a safety bar operatively coupled to the takedown actuation lever. The safety bar moves longitudinally along the frame in response to moving the takedown actuation lever from the firing position to the takedown position, thereby causing the sear to disengage from the striker.

  • Publication number: 20240027151
Abstract: A breechblock assembly for a firearm includes a breechblock extending along a central axis and configured to reciprocate along a receiver of the firearm between a recoil position and a battery position. A lever on the breechblock is movable from a blocking position to a non-blocking position in response to the breechblock moving from the recoil position to the battery position. A spring biases the lever to the blocking position. When the lever is in the blocking position the lever prevents the firearm from firing.

  • Publication number: 20170205191
Abstract: A firearm is described that includes an integrated power source, socket, and conductor connecting the power source to the socket. By integrating these elements into a firearm, a powered accessory can be attached to the firearm without the need for a mounting rail attached to a firearm. Furthermore, powered accessories need not have their own integrated power sources, but rather can connect to the power source within the firearm. This reduces the weight and physical dimensions of both firearms and accessories.
