Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable medium for performing a data center management and monitoring operation. The data center management and monitoring operation includes: identifying a headless data center asset within a data center; identifying a baseboard management controller associated with a data center asset within the data center; accessing the baseboard management controller associated with the data center asset; and, programming the headless data center asset via the baseboard management controller associated with the data center asset, the programming propagating headless data center asset unique information from the baseboard management controller to the headless data center asset.
