Abstract: This invention presents a unique propulsion and maneuver-control system for crafts and devices. This invention develops its desired thrust force vectors from the vectors sum of centrifugal force vectors of rotating masses and their controlled gyroscopic force vectors. Also shown are applications of this propulsion and maneuver-control system for future VTOL-Hovering-Flying crafts, Scooters, Surfboards, marine/submarine-crafts, earth, moon, mars satellites disks and space-crafts. This invention has great potentials of creating new businesses in aerospace markets, all planets' weather modification business, bring people of the world closer together and perform critical tasks of modify trajectories to prevent run-away asteroids from hitting the earth.
Abstract: A method and system for controlling atmospheric conditions in a portion of the atmosphere for weather modification is described. The control of atmospheric conditions is carried out by controllably urging the collisions between the water droplets in the atmosphere so as to cause their controllable coalescence. The urging is characterized by adjusting non-gravitational attraction forces between the droplets to a predetermined value so as to alter a collision rate between the water droplets to a desired value. The changes of the non-gravitational attraction force between the droplets are achieved by dosed seeding in a portion of a cloud or fog a particulate material that is electrically charged to a required magnitude and polarity. The dosed seeding of the charged materials controls the concentration of the charged droplets and the electric attraction between the charged droplets with neutral droplets as well as the electric interaction between the charged droplets.

Abstract: This invention relates to novel charged aerosol sources for diverse applications in Heat/Electric Power Generation, weather modification, airport fog clearance, dispersed chemical reactions, and other uses; and in particular, to a Wind/Electric Power Generator deriving electric power from wind power directly without moving mechanical parts through the medium of charged water droplets introduced into the airstream from a charging electrode, the charged droplets eventually discharging to ground, the electrical load being connected between the charging electrode and ground to complete the circuit. The wind/electric power is converted by an isobaric electrothermodynamic process occurring in the space charge field produced by the charged droplets, which are efficiently produced by novel charging devices on the charging electrode.
Abstract: A wind energy forecasting method with extreme wind speed prediction function cooperated with a central computer, comprising the steps of: inputting a weather data which contains a numerical weather prediction data; implementing a modification with a first model output statistics; implementing a modification with a physical model in accordance with the output of the first model output statistics that can iteratively calculate the results by varying the angles of wind direction; implementing a modification with a second model output statistics; and implementing a prediction of extreme wind speed caused by typhoon, which comprises the following sub-steps of: using a wind and typhoon database to find track data of plural historical typhoons within a certain distance from a target typhoon; using an extreme wind and wind energy prediction tool to calculate at least one extreme wind speed in the future of the target typhoon and calculate the probability of occurring the extreme wind speed; and modifying the extreme
Abstract: Resinous composition for use in coating comprising a hexahydrophthalic acid or anhydride thereof whose acidic groups are capable of developing a resinous acid value and etherified aminoformaldehyde resin. This resinous composition is characterized by possessing all the advantages of oil-free polyester resin compositions such as good weather resistance mechanical properties in the coating, interlaminar adhesion and the like, and furthermore the composition inter alia, has excellent weather resistance because of its modification with saturated alicyclic acids and the curing properties are enhanced because of the control of the acidic groups which develops a resinous acid value. The invention also provides a coating composition, containing as a vehicle, the aforementioned resinous composition.
Abstract: A terrain awareness system and method which provides increased warning times to the pilot of an aircraft of a hazardous flight condition while minimizing nuisance warnings. An important aspect of the invention is that the terrain background information as well as the terrain advisory and warning indications may be displayed on a navigational or weather display, normally existing within an aircraft, which reduces the cost of the system and obviates the need for extensive modifications to existing displays, such as a navigational and weather radar type display.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for receiving inputs at a portable computer used by personal typically operating a delivery vehicle providing delivery services, where the inputs potentially impact completion of a pre-established dispatch plan according to certain delivery criteria. The inputs include modifications to the manifest, updates regarding weather or traffic conditions, or other factors impacting the remaining deliveries. The inputs are examined to determine if modification of the original dispatch plan are warranted, and if so, a signal is generated triggering the processing of the original dispatch plan to produce an updated dispatch plan meeting the certain delivery criteria. The certain delivery criteria may involve commitments for completing deliveries by certain time frames.

Abstract: A method for dynamically defining traffic lanes in a traffic monitoring system is presented. A traffic system sensor detects vehicles passing within the field of view and process the data into an estimation of the position of each of the detected vehicles. The positions are defined and recorded for use in a probability density function estimation. The traffic lane positions are defined such that further detection of vehicles may be assigned to a particular traffic lane without requiring manual set-up and definition of the traffic lane boundaries. The traffic lane boundaries may change or migrate based upon modification of traffic paths due to construction, weather, lane re-assignments and the like.

Abstract: Surface modification control stations and methods in a globally distributed array for dynamically adjusting the atmospheric, terrestrial and oceanic properties. The control stations modify the humidity, currents, wind flows and heat removal rate of the surface and facilitate cooling and control of large area of global surface temperatures. This global system is made of arrays of multiple sub-systems that monitor climate and act locally on weather with dynamically generated local forcing & perturbations for guiding in a controlled manner aim at long-term modifications. The machineries are part of a large-scale system consisting of an array of many such machines put across the globe at locations called the control stations. These are then used in a coordinated manner to modify large area weather and the global climate as desired.

Abstract: Apparatus for heating a vehicle has a mounting plate adapted to be secured in a window frame of the vehicle. The mounting plate has an inside face, an opposed outside face, and openings extending between the outside face and the inside face. A combustion heater is mounted to the inside face of the mounting plate. The combustion heater is arranged to intake fresh air and expel exhaust through an opening or openings in the mounting plate. A fuel tank is mounted to the outside face of the mounting plate and a fuel line extends through an opening in the mounting plate to connect the fuel tank with a fuel supply port of the combustion heater. A modular heating apparatus is thus provided that may be installed in a vehicle window frame. The heating apparatus avoids the necessity to idle the vehicle engine to maintain a comfortable interior temperature in cold weather. It also avoids the necessity for permanent modifications such as installation of a heater.
