Using the coupler and its integrated baffle provides additional sound suppression compared to sound suppressors with other types of connectors between housing portions.

Abstract: A muzzle end accessory for a firearm includes features to both suppress sounds and flashes associated with firing of the firearm. The features that provide sound and flash suppression may be formed, at least partially, in a core structure that is interior to the accessory and thus protected from damage by contact with external elements. The core structure may be of a unitary structure, promoting structural integrity and ease of manufacturing.

Abstract: A suppressor assembly for a firearm includes a diffusor assembly with a body extending along a central axis. At least one diffusor baffle extends across an inside of the body in a direction transverse to the central axis. The diffusor baffle defines a diffusor central opening and a plurality of outer diffusor openings positioned radially outside the diffusor central opening. Signature-reduction baffles include a first baffle portion that extends across the inside of the body and that defines a central baffle opening and a baffle port positioned radially outside of the central baffle opening. A second baffle portion is connected to the first baffle portion opposite the baffle port and radially outside of the central baffle opening. The second baffle portion extends at an angle to the body sidewall.

Abstract: A suppressor for a firearm includes a baffle stack having an outer surface, the baffle stack comprising a plurality of baffles that define an inner chamber coaxially aligned with a central axis of the baffle stack and a projectile pathway through the baffle stack along the central axis. An outer housing is around the baffle stack and has an inner surface separated from and confronting the outer surface of the baffle stack. An outer chamber is defined between the inner surface of the outer housing and the outer surface of the baffle stack. Flow-directing structures are in the outer chamber. An end cap is connected to a distal end of the outer housing and defines a central opening aligned with the central axis.

Abstract: An eccentric firearm silencer includes an elongate body having a projectile entry end, a projectile exit end opposite the projectile entry end, a bore extending through the projectile entry end and the projectile exit end for conducting a projectile therethrough, and a longitudinal axis X passing through the bore. The elongate body is configured to be coupled, rotatably about or slidably parallel to the longitudinal axis X, to a barrel of the firearm at or near the projectile entry end. The elongate body includes a propellant gas expansion chamber disposed adjacent to, and in fluid communication with, the bore for receiving a propellant gas. The elongate body includes a capsule container mounted eccentrically adjacent to, and in fluid communication with, the propellant gas expansion chamber. The capsule container is configured to receive therein a capsule or ablative cartridge containing an amorphous solid or a liquid.
