Abstract: The present invention is directed to a stripline assembly that includes a first pre-fired ceramic substrate including a ground plane disposed on a first surface of the first pre-fired ceramic substrate. A second pre-fired ceramic substrate includes a ground plane disposed on a first surface thereof and a circuit disposed on a second surface of the second pre-fired ceramic substrate opposite the first surface. The circuit is disposed between the first pre-fired ceramic substrate and the second pre-fired ceramic substrate. A conductive bonding layer is disposed around the periphery of the circuit and between the first pre-fired ceramic substrate and the second pre-fired ceramic substrate.

  • Publication number: 20100259336
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a surface mountable circulator/isolator device that includes a first dielectric layer having an electric circuit formed thereon. A second center dielectric layer is disposed adjacent the first dielectric layer, the center dielectric layer including an opening formed therein, the opening being aligned relative to the electric circuit. A ferrite element is disposed in the opening such that the ferrite abuts the electric circuit and is aligned in two-dimensions relative to the electric circuit. A third dielectric layer is disposed adjacent the second center layer. The third dielectric layer includes a ground plane formed on each major surface thereof. The first dielectric layer, the second center dielectric layer, the ferrite element, and the third dielectric layer are bonded together to form a laminated multi-layer structure. A permanent magnet is bonded to the second ground plane.

  • Publication number: 20090179716
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an integrated filter device for an implantable element. The device includes at least one filter component having N-circuit layers, N being an integer greater than or equal to one. Each of the N-circuit layers includes a first dielectric material having a first conductive material disposed thereon, the first dielectric material being characterized by a relatively low dielectric constant. The first conductive material is characterized by a relatively high electrical conductivity and arranged in a predetermined pattern on a surface of the first dielectric material of each of the N-circuit layers. The first conductive material on each of the N-circuit layers is coupled to the first conductive material disposed on an adjacent layer of the N-circuit layers such that the N-circuit layers form an inductor disposed in parallel with a first capacitance.

  • Publication number: 20090243746
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a circulator/isolator device that includes a housing having a substantially planar base portion integrally connected to a segmented flexible wall structure extending in a direction normal thereto. The substantially planar base portion and the segmented flexible wall structure forms an interior housing volume having a predetermined geometry. The segmented flexible wall structure includes a plurality of port apertures disposed therein. The plurality of port apertures are separated from each other and disposed at predetermined locations in the segmented flexible wall structure. A central stack is disposed within the interior housing volume at a predetermined position on the base portion. The central stack includes a substantially flat conductor having a plurality of port structures extending therefrom. Each of the plurality of port structures are disposed at predetermined positions at a perimeter portion of the substantially flat conductor.
