  • Patent number: 7244290
Abstract: An electrostatic room air cleaner includes a housing having a given profile and a plurality of electrostatic precipitation collector units arrayed in the housing with a common fan to circulate room air through the plurality of electrostatic precipitation collector units simultaneously. A total clean air delivery rate is delivered that is determined as the arithmetic sum of the clean air delivery rates of the plurality of electrostatic precipitation collector units arrayed in the housing of given profile. The greater the number of units arrayed, the smaller may be their size, and the easier they are to handle, maintain and replace.

  • Patent number: 7215526
Abstract: The invention is directed towards an efficient and ozone free ion generator in which the ion emitter is open to the surrounding space while the collector is provided by electrical ground remote and away from the ion emitter. In the case of a household generator, the ground is the electrical ground of the house. In the case of a car generator, the ground is the car frame. A safety circuit is arranged to turn the high voltage off if a hand or other body member (or pet) comes near or touches the exposed emitter to prevent electrical shock.

  • Patent number: 7128655
Abstract: A novel putting practice golf cup provides greater development of muscle memory the more aimpoint, clubhead squaring and pacing are practiced resulting in higher confidence and better putting performance during actual play. The putting practice golf cup of the presently preferred and exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a monolithic body having a first target portion shaped as a golf cup and a second foot portion integrally formed with the first target portion to allow manual placement of the monolithic body upon any indoor or outdoor surface so that the first target portion shaped as a golf cup may be used as an aboveground putting practice target cup.

  • Patent number: 7024723
Abstract: A duster cleaning member derives its suction power from a vacuum cleaner to which it is operatively coupled. A duster made of any material received thereby is cleaned by the filtration system of the vacuum cleaner which captures the dust and exhausts cleaned air back into the home or office environment.

  • Patent number: 6937148
Abstract: A multi-station RF thermometer and alarm system measures temperatures and/or percent relative humidity at remote locations by RF weather stations, and displays received temperature and/or other weather data telemetry on a multi-station base station that provides out-of-bounds alarm signal indications whenever temperatures are outside of user-selectable minimum and maximum values. Randomized transmission times in one embodiment and two-phase unique transmission schedules in another lessen the possibility of on-going collisions between two or more transmitters contending for the base station at the same time. Redundant data transmission lessens the possibility of environmental noise interference.

  • Patent number: 6819080
Abstract: An autoilluminating rechargeable lamp system includes a set of one or more self-standing rechargeable lighting fixtures (luminaries) removably supported on a recharging and support member. The luminaries each include a light diffusor that may resemble a candle that turn on when removed from the recharging and support member. The luminaries may also turn on when power to the recharging and support member is turned off, turning the luminaries on automatically as during a power failure. The luminaries may each be inductively coupled to the recharging and support member, which enables to provide an aesthetically pleasing interface free of electrical contacts.

  • Patent number: 6479965
Abstract: A rechargeable lamp system includes a set of one or more self-standing rechargeable lighting fixtures (luminaries) removably received on a recharging platter. The luminaries each include a light diffusor resembling a candle that turn on when removed from the charging platter. The luminaries also turn on when power to the charging platter is turned off, which allows the set to be used as a table lamp, and has the added benefit of turning the luminaries on automatically during a power failure. The luminaries are each inductively coupled to the recharging platter, which enables to provide an aesthetically pleasing interface free of electrical contacts.
