  • Patent number: 6647648
Abstract: A bucket tooth capable of preventing a bolt from being loosened during operation is provided. In order to allow the bucket tooth to generate a resilient return force after attachment, a warp is caused by resilient deformation so that a face on the bucket lip side becomes a concave face. In addition, a spot facing portion is formed around a bolt hole into which a fastening bolt is inserted, on the side facing the bucket lip.

  • Patent number: 6650421
Abstract: In an interferometer for detecting interference light between light flux passed through an object to be inspected and reference light to be generated from a portion of the light flux passed therethrough, a phase of the interference light is detected with high precision. The light flux passed through the optical system to be inspected forms a spot image on a pinhole formed in a plate. Measuring light from the spot image and the reference-light diffracted out of the light flux from the spot image at the pinhole create interference light which in turn is received by an observation system. An image of interference fringes formed by the interference light is taken with an image pickup element. Further, heterodyne interference light is created by vibrating the plate in the direction intersecting the light flux or in the direction along the light path of the light flux, thereby detecting a phase of each portion of the interference fringes with high precision.

  • Patent number: 6649124
Abstract: A powder pressing apparatus comprises a die formed with a plurality of cavities. None of the cavities overlap with another in the direction of pushing the compacts. The magnetic field generator includes a pair of yokes sandwiching the die. The yokes and the die have their respective upper surfaces generally in a same plane. A die lubricant is applied to the die but not to a region on which the compacts are to be slid. A rare-earth alloy powder in a feeder box is supplied into each of the cavities. The powder in the cavities is oriented, pressed, and the formed compacts and the yokes are demagnetized. The compacts are pushed and slid off the die on an anti-wear layer, by a flexible pushing member provided in a front portion of the feeder box. The compacts are sintered into rare-earth magnets, which are suitable for a coreless motor.

  • Patent number: 6650599
Abstract: A reproducing apparatus reproduces a signal recorded in a magneto-optical disk. The magneto-optical disk includes a layered structure having a recording layer, an intermediate layer and a reproducing layer. Laser light is illuminated from an optical head to the magneto-optical disk in such an intensity that no magnetic domain is transferred from the recording layer to the reproducing layer only by the laser light. In this state, alternating magnetic field is applied through a magnetic head to the magneto-optical disk, thereby concurrently causing transfer and expansion of a magnetic domain to the reproducing layer. As a result, transfer of the magnetic domain is effected with expansion.

  • Patent number: 6646337
Abstract: The present invention prepares a member having a potrusion-forming copper foil 21 formed on a conductor-circuit-forming copper layer 23 via an etching-barrier layer 22 formed of a different metal. Etching is selectively performed for the protrusion-forming copper foil 21 by using etchant that does not etch the etching-barrier layer, and protrusions 25 are thereby formed. Then, the etching-barrier layer 22 is removed using etchant that does not etch the copper foil 23 and using the protrusions as masks. An interlayer-insulating layer 27 is formed on a surface of the copper foil 23, on which the protrusions 25 are formed, so that the protrusions are connected to the conductor circuit. Thereby, heights of the protrusions are uniformed, and the reliability of connections can be improved.

  • Patent number: 6646119
Abstract: The starting pyroxylin is subjected to an acetylation reaction while it is dispersed in a dispersion medium such as toluene and kept in a solid phase state, and acetylated pyroxylin is then separated from a reaction solution by means of filtration, so that an extra portion of anhydrous acetic acid taking no part in the reaction can be immediately recovered. This dispenses with the precipitation process required for a prior art solution reaction, and so eliminates an unstable quality factor due to product particle size variations. In addition, the process of washing the post-reaction crude acetylated pyroxylin is designed to include a washing step at a high temperature of 60° C. to 105° C. and a washing step using a stabilizer-containing washing agent, so that acetylated pyroxylin having improved heat resistance and stability can be provided.
