  • Patent number: 4526399
Abstract: A cart of the type similar to that used for carrying luggage at airports or the like which, in its unfolded condition, provides two laterally extending support shelves; one for a supply length of blank paper, and one for the paper after it has been imprinted upon and made into a computer printout. The cart is constructed to unfold from a compact storage condition into a two-shelf support, as and for the purposes just noted, wherein the upper shelf on an upper body frame snaps into place onto a lower frame component in assuming its laterally extending position, and this engagement effectively holds the two frames in extending relation to each other as well as forms a pushing handle for the cart.

  • Patent number: 4518503
Abstract: A water purifier for treating water intended for drinking and like purposes, for installation at point-of-use, i.e., home, office or workplace, which is effective in removing additional contaminents therefrom using a heated carbon filter and distillation, in which the water being purified is heated and induced to alternately flow back and forth between an open compartment used for the filter and a closed evaporator in which it is distilled, the intervals of flow into the filter compartment being effective to heat the filter to thereby increase its ability to remove heavy molecular pollutants (e.g., pesticides, herbicides, etc.) and also being an advantageous location from which there is released to atmosphere low molecular volatile pollutants (e.g.

  • Patent number: 4515290
Abstract: A dispenser for articles comprised of a plurality of laterally interlocking planar partitions with a space between adjacent partitions to form a column for storing the articles to be dispensed. One end of the column defines a customer receiving position for dispensing a last-to-be loaded article from the column. Each column has means that urges the articles towards the customer receiving or dispensing position to hold the last-to-be loaded and first-to-be dispensed article thereat. A slight movement of the article held in the dispensing position causes the same to eject partially therefrom.

  • Patent number: 4513939
Abstract: An improved arrangement of so-called upper and lower curbs with interposed springs having an interconnected condition allowing for their delivery to an installation site as a single unit, and at said site being readily released from each other to then allow vibratory movement in said upper curb relative to said lower curb on said interposed springs, and wherein the release is produced by the force urgency in the springs which dampen the vibration of the air handling unit which is mounted on the curbs.

  • Patent number: 4498247
Abstract: As a construction improvement to the commonly used device that typically is attached to the hose of a "hot air" clothes dryer to assist in indoor venting of the hot air, the within hose-attached device has a conical shape projecting into the path of the incoming hot air which, after being impinged upon, deflects the hot air along angular paths which significantly increases the volume of the hot air which is effectively discharged through the exit openings of the device, and to this extent the within device thus correspondingly diminishes the volume of hot air which otherwise back flows through the hose and adversely effects the operation of the clothes dryer.
