Abstract: A pre-hung door having a door jamb and a door connected to the door jamb. The door has an opening formed therein for receiving door hardware. A pre-hanging door clip is operatively connected to the door and the door jamb to limit relative movement between the door and the door jamb. The pre-hanging door clip includes a movement limiting structure that extends through the opening in the door and that has one end thereof engaged with the door jamb. The pre-hanging door clip also includes a locking member that extends between the door and the door jamb to cooperatively interlock with the one end of the movement limiting structure such that relative movement between the door and the door jamb is limited.
Abstract: A fastener system for binding paper is disclosed comprising a base having spaced first and second ends. A first prong extends from the first end. A second prong extends from the second end. A first member having a first opening receives the first prong, and a second member having a second opening receives the second prong. The first and second members are releasably securable to form a top lock. A method of securing a stack of papers is also disclosed.
Abstract: The invention concerns a clutch release bearing comprising an axially mobile piston (14), and a ring (26I), integral with a raceway (C1), hooked on the piston (14) with axial-effect squeezing elastic means (38, 40). The ring (26I) is provided with a proximal surface (F1, 62) and a distal surface (F2, 70) arranged axially behind the proximal surface (F1, 62). The proximal surface (F1, 62) is supported on a first hooking surface (A1, 64) provided in the piston (14). The squeezing means (38, 40) are supported on the distal surface (F2, 70) of the ring (26I) and a second hooking surface (A2, 76) provided in the piston (14). The first (A1, 64) and second (A2, 76) hooking surfaces provided in the piston (14) are arranged axially in front of the distal surface (F2, 70) of the ring (26I) The invention also concerns a method for assembling the elements of said clutch release bearing.
Abstract: A portable carrier includes a base housing and a cover member secured to the base housing. The base housing is provided with an internal cavity defined by a bottom wall and an enclosing wall extending substantially upwardly from the bottom wall. The cover member is adapted for selectively reconfiguring the portable carrier between a first, closed position preventing access to the internal cavity and a second, open position providing access to the internal cavity. The cover member is dimensioned to closely conform an outer peripheral surface of the base housing so that in the second position the cover member is nested under the base housing over and around the outer peripheral surface thereof. The portable carrier further includes a child-resistant locking device provided for preventing the portable carrier from being open.
Abstract: An apparatus for projection exposure which projects a pattern of a mask onto a work is provided. The apparatus has a base, a source of light, an optical system, a mask support mechanism, a work support mechanism and an alignment mechanism. The optical system constitutes light rays into projection light rays carrying image information of the mask, guiding the projection light rays through a predetermined optical path so that the projection light rays can be projected onto an exposure surface of the work. The optical system includes a projection optical system and an illumination optical system. The projection optical system is adapted to be disposed vertical relative to the base. The mask and work support mechanisms vertically support the mask and work relative to the base, respectively. In this way, the exposure surface of the work can coincide with an image forming plane in the optical path.
Abstract: A package inspection apparatus is provided, and includes a conveyor for transporting a package, a pressure unit for applying a compressive force to the package, a tracer movable over the upper surface of the package for measuring package attributes along a dimension of the package, and a processor. According to some embodiments, the processor determines a trace area of the package from the package measurement attributes. According to certain embodiments, the measured package attributes are compared to a running average, and if the package is within predetermined tolerances, the package measurement attributes are averaged into the running average. Also provided is a related method.
Abstract: A docking station includes a housing, an interlocking member, and a releasing unit mounted on the housing. The releasing unit includes a driving member movable relative to the housing in a driving direction for moving the interlocking member from a locking position to an unlocking position, an operating lever pivoted to the housing so as to be rotatable relative to the housing, and a transmission linkage interconnecting the driving member and the operating member in such a manner that rotation of the operating lever in a rotating direction results in movement of the driving member in the driving direction through the transmission linkage.

Abstract: A packing method and system are disclosed which system includes a first platform having a product support surface for supporting a product and a second platform for supporting a box into which the product is to be packed. After a box is received on and secured to the second platform, the second platform is rotated so that the open top of the box faces the first platform and moved toward the first platform until the box substantially surrounds the product on the product support surface. The first and second platforms are then rotated simultaneously so that the product is transferred from the product support to the box, and the full box is discharged to a discharge conveyor.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a container with a removable handle. The container has spaced first and second knobs. The handle is configured as a split tubular member having a central portion and spaced internal first and second contoured portions proximate opposite ends thereof. Each of the contoured portions is configured to receive one of the knobs. The first and second contoured portions tensionably engage the first and second knobs when the central portion is grasped by a user. A method of securing the handle to the container is also disclosed.
