Abstract: A night latch, in particular a night latch that includes a housing, tumbler, button, and a resilient members. The housing of the present invention maintains the tumbler, button, and resilient members. The housing also may have at least one protrusion located on its sidewall. The tumbler of the present invention has a pivoting member along with an aperture for housing a resilient member. In addition, the tumbler of the present invention may have a protrusion located on its front face, which interacts with a protrusion located on the rear end of lower portion of the button. The lower portion of the button also has a resilient member located on the front end. This resilient member exerts a force that maintains the tumbler in a retracted position.

Abstract: An article useful in orthopedic cast care is described as well as a method of making the article and applying it to the cast. The article is a fragranced solid or semi-solid material that is applied to an orthopedic cast by rubbing it over the outside so as to reduce or mask the unpleasant odor resulting from sweat and dirt building up inside the cast and to provide a pleasant fragrance.

Abstract: A disposable liner for use in a vessel used for blending chemicals is described. The liner has a body with an inside and an outside surface and at least one orifice for receiving and discharging a product contained in the body. The body has at least one layer of a flexible thermoplastic material that can be incinerated to dispose of liner. The liner is adapted to conform generally to at least a portion of the inner surface of the vessel when chemicals are present in the liner. The liner is insertable into the vessel and removable therefrom to dispose of the liner.

Abstract: An adjustable door latch that enables one to adjust its length without removing any functionality from other areas of the door latch assembly. The improved door latch assembly includes a strike plate, adjustment head, adjustment stem, resilient member, and housing. The improved door latch utilizes a threaded adjustment head, which is screwed into an adjustment stem. The adjustment stem has a threaded aperture located on the front surface of a circular disc. The circular disc has at least one rib, which fits into the groove of a drum, this configuration prevents rotation of the circular disc when adjustment is necessary. The adjustment member and stem have apertures that allow one to thread the spindle of a door knob through the door latch assembly and to the other door knob.

Abstract: A process for the extraction of an unwanted material from a gas comprising the steps of introducing an extraction liquid into a fluid having an unwanted liquid therein to form a physical aerosol comprising a plurality of extraction liquid droplets and the fluid, allowing the plurality of extraction liquid droplets to interact with the unwanted liquid in the gas to cause the extraction liquid droplets to be “wetted out” and captured on a porous medium, where the liquid is further contacted by the gas and simultaneously formed into a plurality of coalesceable droplets, coalescing the coalesceable droplets into larger droplets containing the unwanted liquid, and separating the larger droplets containing the unwanted liquid from the fluid.

Abstract: An adjustable roller apparatus has a housing and a roller ball, rotatably mounted in the housing. There is also a base adjuster that is adapted to be moved from a first position to a second position and where one of the first and second positions of the base adjuster is a retracted position that permits the roller ball to contact a surface and rotate on the surface and the other position of the base adjuster is an extended position whereby the base adjuster contacts the surface.

Abstract: Blends of a non-halogenated, formaldehyde-cured silicone rubber are described. The blend includes magnesium oxide and zinc borate. The compositions exhibit thermal stability at high temperatures as well as improved chemical resistance.

Abstract: An improved vent stop for use in sliding sash windows or sliding doors. The vent stop has a housing adapted to be disposed in a recess of either a door or window. This housing includes a cavity with a bottom plate therein. Inside the cavity is a tumbler that may be in a retracted position, to allow the sash or door to move, and an extended position to prevent the sash or door from moving. The tumbler may move from the retracted position to the extended position via at least one pivot connection. Also within the housing is a spring for biasing the tumbler into the extended position. The tumbler has a pivot member that has a bottom plate contact surface that contacts a side edge of the bottom plate when the tumbler is in an extended position, thus preventing further travel of the tumbler.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a night stop that includes a housing, tumbler, spring, and a right arcuate nest, located on the inside bottom surface of the housing, used for maintaining the bottom rounded portion of the spring. The tumbler of the present invention has a top rear surface that is used as a button for activating the tumbler. In addition, the tumbler of the present invention has a concave rear bottom portion that contacts a stopping member when the tumbler is in an activated position. The spring of the present invention is partially housed inside of a bored cavity located on the tumbler. The bottom rounded portion of the spring is maintained in an arcuate nesting area when the tumbler is deactivated. When the tumbler is activated the bottom rounded spring portion traverses over and across a divide point into a right recession area.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for the manipulation and management process of cryogen such that it controls both the fluid body movement as well as internal currents within the cryogen. Small volumes of a desired substance introduced into this managed cryogen for the production of frozen or solidified pellets or granules are better managed as to shape, size, deformation, frozen satellites, fines and agglomeration and overall desired quality. These benefits result from the dispersion of the gas produced, as well as the heat transferred, resulting from the introduction of the relatively hot substance to the cryogen. The fluid body movement assists in maintaining a distance between the individual solidifying pellets or granules thereby minimizing deformation as a result of physical contact. The output characteristics and desired quality of the pellets can be more effectively controlled and managed, as desired.

Abstract: An improved enclosure for electrical components is provided. The enclosure protects components from the environment. The enclosure may rest on a surface and to move it from one location to another the enclosure may be rotated 90° and can travel on top and bottom side wall portions. There is a recessed portion between the top and bottom side wall portion where electrical connections may be present and do not interfere with movement of the enclosure.

Abstract: A window vent stop for use in a sliding sash window assembly or a sliding door assembly. The vent stop has a housing adapted to be disposed in a recess in a non-movable sash member. This housing includes a cavity with a bottom plate therein. A tumbler has at least one pivot for pivotally securing the tumbler to the housing for movement between an extended position, to prevent movement of the sliding sash member and a retracted position, to allow movement of the sliding sash member. Also within the housing is a spring for biasing the tumbler toward the extended position. The tumbler has a first locking member that contacts a second locking member on a release member when the tumbler is in the retracted position and the first locking member does not contact the second locking member when the tumbler is in the extended position.

Abstract: An improved lip product applicator for applying a pasty or semi soft lip product to a user's lips comprising a body is described. The body has a product reservoir extending therefrom. The product reservoir is generally hollow and has a tip extending from an end of the reservoir opposite the body. The reservoir is designed so as to allow for discharging product contained therein through an orifice in said tip. The tip is made of a clear material that permits the user to view the color of the product contained therein. The tip is also tapered and retains its tapered shape as lip product is applied to a user's lips.

Abstract: An eyewear system enables a person to switch lenses among a variety of frames or switch a variety of lenses within a single frame. The lenses can be easily attached to and detached from a frame assembly that may or may not otherwise contain lenses. The lenses may be frameless or positioned in one or more subframe assemblies.

Abstract: A hydraulic system for an attachment for a tractor is disclosed. The hitch has a frame having a top member and a bottom member. The top and bottom members are joined together by a pair of side members forming a structure with an orifice. Each of the top and bottom members are hollow in a cross section, as are each of the side members so that a fluid contained in the members can flow from one member to another.
