Patent number: 5719546Abstract: An inductive coupler forming a closed magnetic circuit by mating a primary core assembly having a primary winding and a secondary core assembly having a secondary winding for transferring electrical power from the primary winding to the secondary winding by electromagnetic induction. A thin magnetic protective sheet having high permeability is attached to the mating surfaces of at least one of the primary and secondary core assemblies or placed to be held by the core assemblies. The magnetic sheet can protect the mating surfaces of ferrite cores, if such cores are used, from breakage by absorbing and dispersing the shock of impact caused when the mating surfaces are abutted against each other to close the cores. Provision of a slit or slits in the magnetic protective sheet can reduce eddy currents flowing in the magnetic sheet.Type: GrantFiled: June 6, 1995Date of Patent: February 17, 1998Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Toyoda Jidoshokki SeisakushoInventors: Makoto Ito, Kazuyoshi Takeuchi, Goro Asahi

Patent number: 5716586Abstract: An exhaust gas purifier includes a filter for collecting particulates, a heater for firing collected particulates, a blower for feeding air, and a controller for controlling power supplied to the heater and air flow rate of the blower. The air flow rate is varied in a regeneration period for improving the regeneration efficiency and for protecting the filter. In one embodiment, the air flow rate is initially reduced in the burning period and increased after burning in the radial direction at the downstream portion of the filter. The burning propagation speed, the heat generation and the increase of the temperature of the filter are limited by suppressing the air flow rate in the burning period. The particulates remaining in the downstream portion of the filter due to the suppressed air flow rate supplied in the burning period can be burned subsequently by supplying an increased air flow rate after the burning period.Type: GrantFiled: July 18, 1995Date of Patent: February 10, 1998Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Toyoda Jidoshokki SeisakushoInventor: Hiroyuki Taniguchi

Patent number: 5715669Abstract: A bobbin transporting system are overhead transporting rail for the flyer frames and an overhead transporting rail for spinning machines are disposed independent of each other. The bobbin transporting carrier running on the transporting rail for the flyer frames suspends the bobbin hangers at a pitch equal to that of bobbin wheels of the flyer frame arrayed in one of two rows in which the bobbin wheels are disposed in a zigzag pattern. The bobbin transporting carrier running on the transporting rail for the spinning frames suspends bobbin hangers at a pitch equal to that of reserve roving bobbins disposed at both sides of a spinning machine. A bobbin exchanging apparatus is disposed at a location where both the transporting rails extend in parallel and close to each other. In the bobbin exchanging apparatus, bobbins suspended at different pitches from the respective bobbin transporting carriers travelling on the transporting rails in opposite directions, respectively, are exchanged.Type: GrantFiled: November 28, 1995Date of Patent: February 10, 1998Assignee: Kabushiki Kaisha Toyoda Jidoshokki SeisakushoInventors: Toshinori Hasegawa, Kengo Ohashi, Takayuki Morita, Masuo Hayakawa
