Abstract: A tape having a plurality of pockets for accommodating electronic components has a bottom wall with platforms for supporting electronic components and end walls having bosses adjacent opposite ends of tape and side walls adjacent opposite sides of the tape to prevent lateral, longitudinal, and rotational movements of the electronic components in the pockets. Fingers on the bosses and/or side walls extend over opposite portions of the electronic components to vertically retain the electronic components in the pockets.
Abstract: A motor home has a slide-out room movable between extended and retracted positions with a slide-out assembly that supports the outside of the room. A longitudinal skid pad assembly supports the inside of the room on the floor of the motor home. Latches on the side walls of the motor home engage anchors secured to the floor of the motor homes to retain the room in the retracted position. Connectors having vertical and horizontal adjusting structures mount the room on the slide-out assembly to permit adjustment of the position of the room relative to the side wall and floor of the motor home.
Abstract: A system for warming blood or other liquids to body temperature and maintaining the liquid at that temperature for infusion into a patient. The system is characterized by a cylindrical condensation liquid heating chamber having an inner tubular air heater. A cylindrical heat retaining shell surrounds and is spaced from the outer wall of the heating chamber. A flat flexible heat exchanging liquid warming envelope is held clamped between the outer wall of the heating chamber and the surrounding shell. An external outer elongated air hose is connected at one end to a warmed air outlet from the air heater and extends to the patient and surrounds an inner elongated warm liquid flow line to maintain the temperature of the liquid.
Abstract: A hand held ice skate blade sharpening tool has a holder having a rotatably mounted cylindrical sharpening stone material. The holder and stone are retained with a two-piece body. A releasable connector holds the body together. The body has a longitudinal access slot extending radially from the outer surface of the stone. Elongated guides projecting upwardly adjacent the slot are transversely spaced at a distance substantially the same as the width of an ice skate blade to guide and limit lateral movement of the blade within the slot during the sharpening procedure. Shims are positioned in grooves in the guides to adjust the width of the slot to accommodate ice skate blades having different thicknesses. A transverse groove intersects the slot and guides. The bottom of the transverse groove is open to the channel exposing the outer surface of the stone.
Abstract: A cleaning apparatus having a pan-shaped housing used to clean horizontal surfaces, such as a floor, conveyor belt and the like. Mounted on the top of the housing is a spinner assembly having a tubular shaft rotatably mounted therein carrying tubular arms located within the housing. Cleaning fluid flows through the spinner assembly into the arms and is discharged through nozzles having orifices mounted on the ends of the arms. A bolt threaded into a connector attaching one of the nozzles to an arm is adjustable to regulate liquid flow rate through the connector to adjust the speed of rotation of the arms. A flexible skirt attached to the bottom of the housing has a lower edge spaced a short distance above the surface to concentrate and prevent dissipation of the cleaning fluid. A three position valve controls the flow of water and disinfectant liquid through the cleaning apparatus.
Abstract: A door hinged to a structure has a latch mechanism holding the door in a closed locked position. The latch mechanism has spring biased bolt units secured to opposite sides of the door connected with a single cable. A handle and lock assembly located in a recess in the outside of the door between the bolt units and mounted on the door has a hook with a groove accommodating the cable. When the handle is moved from its locked position cable is pulled to release the bolts allowing the door to be moved to its open position.
Abstract: A therapeutic method is provided to manage human body weight in nicotine-experienced or nicotine-naive individuals, comprising of transdermally administering an amount of nicotine metabolites or a pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof to a human in need of such treatment, in an amount which is effective to manage human body weight.
Abstract: An apparatus and method for deriving, with respect to a particular individual, those color hues which have particularly major impact upon the individual in terms of being most positive or most negative. The patient is subjected to a display of changing color hues and is fitted with a biofeedback assembly that measures involuntary body system responses as the individual views the display. These measurements are coordinated with the color display in order to identify each color shade's impact upon the individual. In one preferred embodiment, the color display is generated by a monochromatic light source in order to subject the patient to true or pure color.
Abstract: A portable seed spreader for distribution of bulky and irregular size seeds over a local area. The spreader includes a U-shaped frame that carries a housing having a first seed bin and a second seed bin. A first transverse shaft is mounted to legs of the frame and extends through the first seed bin. The first shaft carries agitators for mixing and stirring the seeds in the first seed bin. Discharge slots are located in a bottom wall of the first seed bin. A second transverse shaft is mounted on the frame and extends beneath the bottom wall of the first seed bin. The second transverse shaft carries picker wheels that extend through the discharge slots into the first seed bin to pick seeds therefrom and draw them through the discharge slot. The shafts are connected so that rotation of one transverse shaft as by a hand crank, an electric motor or a wheeled mechanism, results in rotation of the other.

Abstract: A gasket shaped heater for placement between parting surfaces of component housings of engines, gear housings, differential housings and similar structures. The heater preheats the components to facilitate cold weather starting or operation thereof. In one form of the invention the heater is semi-permanently attached to a parting surface of the component housing and has an outer metallic surface which interfaces with the standard gasket located between the connected components. In another form of the invention, the heater takes the place of the standard gasket normally interposed between the parting surfaces.
Abstract: A portable sport equipment bag having an air distributor is connected with a hose to blower operable to move air under pressure into the air distributor. The air distributor has one or more manifolds located within the bag. The manifolds have a plurality of holes to allow air in the manifolds to flow into the bag to dry sport equipment and objects within the bag. One or more air filters mounted on the bag remove odors and foreign matter from the air flow from the bag into the environment adjacent the bag.
