Abstract: An orthopedic knife for a one-handed person, the knife comprising a blade, a hold-down member closely associated with the blade, and an extending handle pivoted to both blade hold-down member at spaced points such that the blade reciprocates as the handle is oscillated and the hold-down member is lodged with respect to an object to be cut.
Abstract: A manually filled and operated binder for stacks of similarly apertured sheets, having a sidewall pierced at mutually spaced points. The outer aspect of the apertured wall is countersunk at the pierce hole. The opposite wall is provided with recesses aligned with the countersunk aperture for receiving pins to secure sheets having apertures in alignment with the apertures of the sidewalls.
Abstract: Casket hardware for supporting and adjusting a body supporting spring frame comprising a screw, a barcket engaged with the screw to travel along it, and a part of the spring frame engaged with the bracket and being held to the bracket in part by the screw.
Abstract: A blowdown pot is provided with an inlet pressure control valve through which the pot receives unwanted residue e.g., ash from a high pressure chemical reactor, and this reactor residue can thereby be continuously or semi-continuously blown out from the high pressure, high temperature chemical reactor into the relatively low pressure blowdown pot which includes means maintaining a liquid level therein minimizing steam flashing and vessel wear. At the same time the reactor residue is removed from the pot with a liquid overflow.
Abstract: A concealment garment for a nursing mother including a body covering top having a pair of parallel spaced slits or openings therein, and an attached collar depending to a point to cover the openings but being free of the top except adjacent the neck portion of the top.
Abstract: An audible and visual signal for an indicator for fishing in which the signal includes a resilient wire and a releasable line catch which holds the resilient wire. The indicator is to be mounted on a fishing rod in either of two positions: in one position the line catch is co-planar with respect to the rod and in the other position, the line catch is offset therefrom.
Abstract: Skewed-axis cylindrical-die rolling method for the production of combined screw-thread and gear-tooth forms on the external surface of bars using multi-element dies which progressively form the screw thread and then the gear teeth on a portion of the screw thread in which the gear-tooth forming die element is free-rotating and the other die elements are driven.
Abstract: A therapeutic bench for extending the thoracic cage and cervical areas of the body, comprising an elongated, horizontal support, a shorter thoracic cage support thereon, the bench being made to support only the sternum and chin with arms and head unsupported when a person sits on the support and lies prone as to the torso.

Abstract: A double action latch for the drop side of a crib, wherein the drop side must be lifted slightly in order for the latch to be free to be actuated.
Abstract: An open wire shelf and supporting brackets wherein the shelf has longitudinal wires to enter and be gripped by depressions in the brackets so as to be removable and adjusted to three positions of different extent from a support for the brackets.
Abstract: A bladed tool wherein the blade has a tang encompassed by a pair of similar handle halves connected by a threaded fastener located in aligned bores in the two handle halves and projecting into the material of the handle halves in the bores, and a projection and hole construction on the handle halves to align the handle halves during assembly.
