Abstract: A system for displaying an image on a display includes a display for displaying an image thereon. A three dimensional representation of an image is obtained. The three dimensional representation is rendered as a two dimensional representation on the display. An imaging device is associated with the display. The location of a viewer is determined with respect to the display. The rendering on the display is based upon the determining the location of the viewer with respect to the display.
Abstract: A flexible inflatable packer for use in installation of a sealant such as grout in joints and defects in a conduit such as a sewer pipe, and a method for sealing defects in a conduit by use of such a packer. The packer can collapse to a slender configuration for movement through a small conduit to a location along the length of the conduit where repair is needed. The packer can be inflated to place a sealing portion adjacent each end of the packer into sealing contact with the interior of the conduit, while a centrally located portion of the packer defines space into which a fluid sealant can be installed to repair cracks or holes in the conduit. The centrally located portion of the packer supports the sealant material during a process of curing.
Abstract: To enable the circuit board to be fixed on a predetermined position and to be conveyed to the solder processing portion. Conveying hooks 10 that hold the printed circuit board W1 therebetween, conveying chains 15a, 15b that drive so that the conveying hooks 10 are movable from a heater part 4 to a solder bath 5, first frames 9A that guide the conveying chains 15a, 15b along the heater part 4, second frames 9B that guide the conveying chain 15 along the solder bath 5, and an absorbing member 124 that is provided between each of the first frames 9A and each of the second frames 9B and absorbs an expansion and contraction based on difference of any thermal expansion between the frames 9A, 9B and the conveying chains 15a, 15b are provided. Since the absorbing member 124 absorbs the expansion and contraction based on difference of any thermal expansion between the frames 9A, 9B and the conveying chains 15a, 15b, it is possible to prevent the conveying chains 15a, 15b from being deviated from the frames 9A, 9B.
Abstract: A wheel turns about a fixed shaft to reel in or pay out an aperture closure member. A motor provides drive to the wheel through a belt. The motor is mounted on a slider plate which can slide relative to a fixed plate, which is secured to the shaft. As the slider plate slides away from the shaft, the belt comes into tension allowing the motor to drive the wheel.
Abstract: A rack defining receptacles for holding railroad car wheelsets arranged in an echelon pattern with the axles of the wheelsets oriented obliquely with respect to the width of the rack. The rack is of strong yet light construction. The rack has a length and width about equal to those of a 20-foot ISO intermodal cargo container and is equipped with corner fittings compatible with conventional container-handling and container-carrying equipment.

Abstract: Elements of the present invention relate to systems and methods for generating, converting and using histograms in an image processing system. Aspects of some embodiments also relate to generation of a one-dimensional histogram based on luminance and compound color channel data. Some embodiments also relate to histogram dynamic range conversion.
Abstract: A debugging system produces displays in response to an IC design and results of a logic simulation of IC behavior based on the IC design. The IC design includes a hardware description language (HDL) model of the IC describing the IC as comprising cell instances communicating via data signals and power sources for supplying power to the cell instances. The IC design also includes power definition markup language (PDML) model describing a power intent of the IC design. The debugging system generates displays representing HDL code that are annotated to indicate how the power intent of the IC design described by the PDML model relates to the portion of the HDL model represented by the display. The debugging system also generates signals trace displays indicating how both the logic and power intent of the IC design affect the value of a user-selected signal at a user-selected time during the logic simulation.

Abstract: Elements of the present invention relate to systems and methods for generating, a modified process for compensating for a reduced source light illumination level as well as a post-compensation process.
Abstract: Aspects of the present invention relate to methods and systems for controlling power consumption with a power controlling display device. Some aspects relate to a power controlling display device that receives power cost data and user preferences and generates a power consumption schedule that may control internal display components as well as connected power consuming devices. Some aspects relate to methods and systems for automatically compensating a displayed image when display backlight levels are modified due to power regulation.
Abstract: A method of protecting an executable program from reverse engineering and/or tampering. The method includes receiving a copy of the executable program together with a debug database, the database storing the locations of functional blocks within the executable program. A protection code is inserted into the executable program so as to overwrite at least part of a functional block of the executable program. Subsequent execution of the functional block causes the protection code to be executed. The protection code, when executed, performs an operation and executes a copy of the overwritten part of the functional block.
Abstract: A shopping cart has a forward end and an aft end and includes a base structure including wheels, a chassis supported on the wheels, and a basket attached to the chassis. The shopping cart also includes an accessory seat structure attached in articulated fashion to the base structure and including a seat base and at least one leg attached to the seat base. The seat base has a forward end and an aft end. The accessory seat structure is movable relative to the base structure between a stored position, in which the forward end of the seat base is positioned beneath the basket, and a deployed position, in which the seat base extends aft of the basket and is supported in a substantially horizontal orientation by the base structure at the forward end of the seat base and by the leg at the aft end of the seat base.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for defining particle and/or mineral content in real time in a mineral separation process from finely divided particle material flowing either in solid or slurry-like form, so that from the particle material, there is extracted a representative sample, which sample is then subjected to grain size analysis, on the basis of which there is calculated the element and/or mineral content of the particle material.
Abstract: An automated system having a memory storing a plurality of potential reclaims in a queue, and a processor that automatically selects which of the plurality of potential reclaims to apply to a movement cycle of a unit of railroad transport equipment, by processing mutually exclusive combinations of potential reclaims, and so as to maximize the total value of the applied reclaim(s).
